If you think for a second that the far-left social media mob is truly offended that comedian and podcaster Joe Rogan said the N-word repeatedly years ago, I’ve got some prime oceanfront property in Idaho I’d like to sell you on the cheap. This fake outrage is just one reason why the 5,479 624 wokeist mob should not be taken seriously after they have gathered offensive comments made by their target years before.
You have probably already heard the news, but if you haven’t, here’s a quick rundown.
The so-called progressive Cancel Culture Community™ (CCC) is currently engaged in a campaign to get Spotify, the service which hosts Rogan’s podcast, to drop the comedian’s show. Why? He invited two people to his home who disagree with the Democrat-approved story on COVID-19 and vaccines.
After it became apparent they would not be able to use supposed “misinformation” about the virus to bend Spotify to their will, the woke crowd reverted to their usual pastime of pointing at their opposition and yelling “thass raaaycissss!” until the company acquiesces. The CCC found old YouTube videos in which comedians used the N-word.
And yes, I’m talking about the hard “N.”
Now, we have high-profile progressives clutching their pearls and giving not-so-convincing performances, pretending to be exceedingly offended at Rogan’s remarks. The podcaster posted a video on Instagram in which he offered an apology for the years-old clips,” calling them “the most regretful and shameful thing I’ve ever had to talk about publicly.”
He noted that the videos circulating on social media contained “out of context” pieces, and that when he used the word, he was typically quoting others or having a conversation that involved the slur. “Instead of saying ‘the N-word,’ I would just say the word. I thought as long as it was in context, people would understand what I was doing,” he said.
I’ve got news for Rogan. They DoYou were able to understand their actions and are trying to make it more against you.
To understand the events here, you don’t have to be a scientist. They are simply using Rogan’s past uses of the word to pressure Spotify to cut ties with him. They want to destroy his career.
Rogan’s use of the slur is likely to offend seven people. What do you know?
This is because the mob of outrage has a very selective approach to applying this standard. They are only “outraged” because it benefits them in this instance. Here’s how you can tell.
What did these individuals think of the clip in which Joe Biden repeatedly used N-words when quoting another person while discussing redistricting? Is Biden racist to them? It had any effect on their support of him.
You already know the answer, don’t you?
Of course I’m not the only one who saw this early on. Glenn Greenwald, a journalist, also noticed this strange deviation from the norm. On Twitter, he posted the Biden N word video and wrote:
If you actually think that finding old clips of someone using the n-word is proof they’re a racist, then you would find this [Down pointing backhand index emoji] infinitely more alarming and important given that he is kind of more powerful than Joe Rogan. But you don’t think that: it’s just a game to silence him.
You might think finding clips from someone who uses the n-word in old videos is evidence they are racist. 👇He is far more dangerous and significant than Joe Rogan. You don’t have to believe that he is this powerful. It’s just a game. pic.twitter.com/xLBjgOsjgw

In the past, other comedians and media figures have also used the N word extensively. Howard Stern, who wore blackface during a routine for a minstrel troupe, used the term liberally in one example. He received mild criticism. No one led an effort to de-platform him. He was not the target of a social media mob.
But wait, there’s more!
Remember “The Young Turks”? Cenk Uygur, Anna Kasparian and the N-word had an intimacy with them as hosts. You can see the video here:

When it comes to how they apply their standards, the left’s inconsistency reveals their duplicity. This is particularly true in relation to racial concerns.
The only – and I do mean only – reason why they are bringing up Rogan’s use of the N-word currently, is because they want him to lose his platform because of his decision to converse with prominent medical professionals who express differing views on the coronavirus and vaxx. Also, he interview others who are against the principles of wokeism.
You don’t need any other reason.
They are not offended by this word. They don’t believe Rogan is a racist. Because they see him as a threat. This is not a political coup, it’s merely a hit job.
The sooner we realize that most of the members of the far-leftist chattering class don’t actually believe what they say, the better off we will be. Most of the people who are woke don’t think this is a good idea. It is not about racism, but about eliminating the opposition. Far-left views racism not as a social problem to solve, but as a political tool that can be used. Just another example of that.
