They’re coming for your guns. That’s a matter of fact at this point. And that intention was again announced on ABC’s The View on Monday, as co-host Whoopi Goldberg declared that AR-15s have “got to go” and that “I don’t want all your guns. That AR-15 is what I want. I want it.” And despite the evidence to the contrary, co-host Sara Haines tried to gaslight viewers by claiming the slippery slope of gun-grabbing doesn’t exist.
“Listen, this AR-15’s got to go,”Goldberg declared to the approval of all the other liberals, as well as Tara Setmayer (false conservative). “I don’t care NRA, you’ve got to give that gun up. You can have your other yee-haw guns, whatever you want.”
She resorted to the old-debunked lie that the Second Amendment only related to hunting. “the AR-15 is not a hunting gun. It’s not a gun where you’re going to go out and shoot your dinner.” “It’s a weapon of war,”Sunny Hostin was the co-host and seemed unaware that knives could also be used for war.
Goldberg then made a comparison between it and abortion using a tit for tat argument.
This is what it was made for. It’s not possible to have it any more. I’m not even going to tell you how pissed I am that so many folks are saying, “well you can’t have what you need for your body.” Forget my body, This gun is not allowed It kills children as well as people. And I’m sick of it.
Goldberg may not admit this, but every abortion results in the death of a child. Guns kill more people each year than abortion. That’s not to mention that millions of law-abiding Americans own guns, not just ARs, and less than one percent are used to kill people.
Haines supported Goldberg by proving that she is living in a liberal bubble, and had never spoken with any serious Second Amendment supporters. “I haven’t never yet heard even a pro-gun person explain to me why these are something that we need to have in our houses, how that is at all constitutionally protected by the Second Amendment,”She huffed.
Let me do it for her. AR platforms are a stable and simple-to-use firearm for home defense. This platform can also be used to protect livestock and prevent varmints. And contrary to Goldberg’s claims about hunting, AR-10 variants do make for good hunting rifles with their larger caliber rounds. And on the constitutionality, the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed and the Supreme Court has ruled that bans on popular weapons can’t stand.
Further on Haines’s ignorance, she denied the existence of the slippery slope for gun-grabbing. “Well, we know firsthand, from 1994 to 2004, as you [co-host Sunny Hostin]As mentioned above, the ban was lifted and is now in effect. And it wasn’t a slippery slope no one came for your other weapons. So that’s a dead point,” she bitterly proclaimed.
That was before, and that is what we are doing now. NewsBusters reported last week that CBS MorningsA segment was spent calling for gun bans in New Zealand, Australia and the U.K. These bans included “all semi-automatic rifles,” “private ownership of all handguns,” and “shotguns.” So much for the ‘they’re not coming for your hunting weapon’ argument. The 9mm caliber is also being targeted by President Biden.
Goldberg wasn’t even getting to the point with her wild ramblings. At one point she demanded a law that would make “people who are part of the NRA to have to go to the funerals of these children.” Setmayer chimed in and demanded they be forced to look at pictures of dead kids.
“I don’t want all your guns. It’s the AR-15 that I desire. It’s what I want. And we’re going to vote it out so it’s not going to be accessible,” Goldberg continued. “We’re not doing it anymore. I’m telling y’all. It is up to us to vote, it’s as simple as putting it on the ballot and removing the AR-15. Keep whatever else you got, get rid of the AR-15.”
If liberals are honest with you, trust them.

WHOOPI Goldbergg: This AR-15 has to go.
THE CAST (in unison): It’s got to go.
GOLDBERG: I’m sorry.
[Applause]
You know what? Buffaloans are still in pain because they can’t shop because no one will deliver a grocery store to their area. Too many lives and so many children are at risk.
People are so smug about saying they need to do something. We should be doing what seems. I don’t care NRA, you’ve got to give that gun up. Your other yeeh guns are yours to keep. The AR-15 –
SUNNY HOSTIN – Must go.
GOLDBERG — This is not a hunting rifle.
HOSTIN: It’s a weapon of war.
GOLDBERG – This gun is not one you can take out to eat. The gun was designed to be used against people. This is what the gun was made for. You cannot have it any more. I’m not even going to tell you how pissed I am that so many folks are saying, “well you can’t have what you need for your body.” Forget my body, you can’t have this gun because it kills people and children. And I’m sick of it.
JOY BEHAR: And since this incident, by the way, that we’re talking about, 11 other mass shootings have taken place.
GOLDBERG : Over the weekend. It’s true, it is over the weekend.
BEHAR: It is important to mention that there has been a mass shooting every day.

SARA HAINES: If I could snap my fingers I’d fall on the side of I didn’t see the need for AR-15s. Even though I’ve never heard a pro-gun advocate explain why they are necessary in my home, or how it is constitutionally protected under the Second Amendment. I haven’t gotten there in understanding that.
But because – and I also want to say it’s not a slippery slope. Some people that defend AR-15s say, ‘they come of the AR-15, and then what do they come from next?” Well, we know firsthand, from 1994 to 2004, as you [Sunny Hostin]As mentioned above, the ban was lifted and now it is in effect. And it wasn’t a slippery slope no one came for your other weapons. So that’s a dead point.

SETMAYER: Right.
GOLDBERG
SETMAYER: Look at the photos. Take them to the photos.
GOLDBERG I don’t want all your guns. It’s the AR-15 that I desire. It’s what I want. And we’re going to vote it out so it’s not going to be accessible.
SETMAYER: Listen! Justice Scalia was one of most conservative justices involved in the Heller case. He said that the Second Amendment does not have absolute power and has limitations.
HOSTIN: Actually, he stated that the right to possess and use any type of weapon for any purpose was not an absolute right. There are limitations!
GOLDBERG – Scalia was not for it. We’re not doing it anymore. I’m telling y’all. It is up to us to vote, it’s as simple as putting it on the ballot and removing the AR-15. Don’t lose anything else. Get rid of the AR-15.
