According to rules set by the left at the beginning of the pandemics, spreading COVID misinformation would be considered an offense and should result in you being kicked off society. But the rules don’t apply to them as Monday’s edition of The View demonstrated; as co-host Whoopi Goldberg speculated she got COVID from the wind after opening a window and gave it co-host Ana Navarro “through the camera.”
Sunny Hostin, Sunny’s co-host, stepped in to defend Justice Sotomayor last week after she was accused of spreading misinformation. She went on to deny the science of the CDC’s revised isolation guidelines without evidence to support her claims.
At the very top, cast members were talking about how it was feeling while they recovered from COVID-19. (The entire cast is now boosted). “Yeah, it’s crazy. Ana, it was positive. You feel like you have my back through the camera, how you feeling,” Goldberg declared as she looked for Navarro’s input.
After Navarro explained how she was “little stuffy” and spent her isolation “watching TV, reading, and eating popcorn,” Goldberg chimed back in to suggest COVID was just in the air and not just around people.
“You got to watch television, redesign stuff because It feels everywhere. Eventually, it will be something. I feel as if I opened the window to get COVID. The wind was blowing by the waves.,” she stated.
Hostin used the occasion to brag about his inability to be isolated during the outdated 10-day recommendation from the CDC.
This is how I managed to stay busy. However, I didn’t keep my isolation for only five days as the current CDC guidelines. Before I left my isolated room, I made sure I had tested negative. You know what? Things are now being done a bit differently. However, I was very busy.
After coming back from a commercial break, Hostin dove in to defend the Supreme Court Justice for spreading misinformation during the oral arguments for President Biden’s vaccine mandates. And the crux of her argument was that Sotomayor might be wrong factually but she’s correct in spirit.
“Well, first, This is Justice Sotomayor. I would like to change the way it’s framed.,” she said. “Because while She may be wrong about current hospitalizations for children. However, she’s correct. that we have more children in the hospital now more than ever before.”
Ignoring the fact that the Justice wrongly claimed there were 100,000 kids hospitalized and on ventilators, Hostin suggested: “It certainly mirrors the present cases for children.” Adding: “Right now, we have over 82,843 children sick with COVID. This virus has already claimed more than 1000 lives. In addition, about 7.8 million children have caught COVID since the pandemic started.”
“And so, That’s real and these are actual numbers.” she indignantly huffed at critics.
Hostin denied then the science that Omicron has a shorter life span and that a patient with the Omicron variant is not more infectious after five days.
The other thing that I want to say, I’m really concerned about this CDC guidance. I know that the science is evolving and I know our knowledge is evolving, but now the CDC is saying, after five days of being infected you don’t have to test negative, you can go out, you can go back to work and wear mask.
“That is not what I believe.,” she sneered without evidence. “I think after five days if you’re not testing you can certainly still be infectious and you can certainly still spread the virus the other people.”

WHOOPIE GOLDBERG : Yes, that’s crazy. Ana, your test was positive last week. You feel like you rubbed me off through the camera. How are you feeling?
ANA NAVARRO – I am feeling good. However, my makeup and hair are not up to par today as I did them myself. This is something that I have never done well.
This is what I have been doing. The guidelines are confusing, and I find it difficult to stay on top of them. When I felt bad, I began isolating. I went upstairs. I’ve done a lot of reading this weekend, which I don’t usually read fiction. It’s a great book! Olga Dies Dreaming. Have binge-watched a lot of stuff.
Sara is organizing and doing constructive things. I’ve been reading and watching television, as well as eating popcorn.
GOLDBERG
It’s fascinating to see television and redesign things. I felt like I opened the window and received COVID. The waves were just passing by in the wind.
Sunny, you are beautiful. You look great, Sunny.
SUNNY HOOSTIN: My mood is better. It seems like I have COVID either before Christmas or during Christmas. This incredible series Love Life was streaming on Netflix. Both the first and second seasons. It was binge watching and it inspired me to write my second book. Sag SummerI was able to do a lot of work in that area. Also, these TikTok videos taught me how to do African dance.
This is how I managed to stay busy. However, I didn’t keep my isolation for only five days as the current CDC guidelines. Before I left my isolated room, I made sure I had tested negative. You know what? Things are now being done a bit differently. However, I was very busy.

HOSTIN : I would like to start by saying that Justice Sotomayor is not correct for the current number of children admitted to hospital. However, her statement does confirm that more children are now in hospital than ever. This is a reflection of the children’s current caseload. For now, there are more than 82.943 children with COVID. Over 1,000 people have been affected by the virus. Since then, approximately 7.8 millions children have contracted COVID.
So, those are the numbers. While fewer 83,000 children have been admitted to hospital with the virus, we now have COVID in more kids than ever. So, this is a real problem and these are real numbers.
The other thing that I want to say, I’m really concerned about this CDC guidance. I know that the science is evolving and I know our knowledge is evolving, but now the CDC is saying, after five days of being infected you don’t have to test negative, you can go out, you can go back to work and wear mask.
