The View Denies Leftist Political Violence Exists, ‘Mainstream’ in GOP

The leading “hot topic” for ABC’s The View on Tuesday, was the disgusting campaign ad put out by Republican Missouri U.S. Senate candidate Eric Greitens where he and a group of gun-toting cosplay soldiers wanted to “hunt” RINOs. This naturally, led the cast to ignore the widespread condemnation from the right and insist the right thought it was “funny” and had become “the party of violence!”

Joy Behar, the co-host of the conversation began by declaring that she had completely ignored the attempted assassination against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh two weeks prior by a leftist extremist. “the Republican Party has become the party of insurrection, revolt, and violence. And they don’t make any bones about it anymore.”

And noting that the Democrats had their “DINOs” in the form of Senators Joe Manchin (WV) and Kristen Sinema (AZ), Behar outrageously suggested they’ve never had threats made against them from the left. “You don’t see us threatening their lives, the Democrats are not the party of violence. [Republicans] have become the party of violence!”She shrieked.

However, The ViewKavanaugh attacked because he was part of an uncivil media network that promoted the type of activities. Sinema and Manchin have been at the center of hostile confrontations.

Behar kept her deranged activism going by requesting that people vote against the Republicans. “you will lose the country. I’m warning everybody, I’m afraid it’s true.”

Republican Lindsey Granger was on hand to educate Behar about the widespread criticism of Greitens. This includes long before Behar’s current campaign for elected office. Behar couldn’t believe the facts (click “expand”):

GRANGER: … to brandish a gun and to say you want to kill anybody, especially on the heels of these January 6 hearings knowing that Pence was threatened literally to be hung and things like this.

BEHAR: What are you saying Lindsey? That the Republican Party doesn’t support this kind of behavior.

GRANGER : This behavior is not supported by them.

BEHAR: Really?

GRANGER

“It feels like the mainstream like right now lately, to me,” Behar scoffed.

Granger is being questioned. mentally unstable co-host Sunny Hostin busted out her latest batch of “stats” from left-wing political organizations, like the Anti-Defamation League, to assert “most extremist violence in the U.S. does comes from the political right.”

“And I think when you have something like January 6 and there aren’t enough consequences to that, violence is the – people see that violence is the way forward. And, unfortunately I think that Republicans have brought extremism to the mainstream,” Hostin opined, after claiming “over 60 percent” of Republicans belong to “far-right Facebook groups,” without evidence.

Co-host Sara Haines tried to push back with a bit with some both-sides-ism and said extremism needed to be confronted “no matter your party.” This triggered Hostin who immediately shot back with, “But you’re not seeing this — the Democrats didn’t storm the Capitol.”

But they were the ones who spent a lot of 2020 destroying parts of American cities, setting them on fire, killing people, and demolishing homes and people’s livelihoods all under the banner of the Black Lives Matter and Antifa terrorist groups.

This anti-Republican rhetoric was made possible because of lucrative sponsorships from L’Oréal and General Mills. You can find their contact information here.

WHOOPI GLOBBERG: What are the current events in the world? You can threaten any person now, with no consequences.

JOY BEHAR: The Republican Party is now the party of rebellion, violence, and insurrection. They don’t mince words about this. You don’t know what this man should do. It’s not funny.

The Democrats have the DINOs, let’s put it, the Democrats in name only, you could say Manchin and Sinema are in that category. The Democrats don’t threaten peoples lives. They are the party that is violent!

Look, I don’t want to say it again because I’m starting to sound like a broken record. Voting for Republicans at the next election will result in you losing the country. It’s terrifying, and I am warning everyone.

LINDSEY GRANGER: We’re talking about a guy who didn’t even finish out his term as governor. He’s someone how’s a disgraced politician and not somebody subscribe by. I don’t think a lot of conservatives subscribe by – when they say is someone whose policies that we’re following.

The person is accused of causing abuse to children or women.

BEHAR: His son, and his wife.

GRANGER: Right. So, this is not somebody we subscribe by anything that they’re saying. He should step down and be moved to the other side, as I believe a lot have done. Because I think, in the moment, it’s completely tone deaf to both Democrats and Republicans to sit up there, after Uvalde, after Buffalo – and these are just the national shootings, there were several others that we didn’t talk about – to brandish a gun and to say you want to kill anybody, especially on the heels of these January 6 hearings knowing that Pence was threatened literally to be hung and things like this.

BEHAR: What are you saying Lindsey? That the Republican Party doesn’t support this kind of behavior.

GRANGER : This behavior is not supported by them.

BEHAR: Really?

GRANGER : But he’s a fringe party member. Unfortunately, it’s somebody who represents something that I don’t stand for that a lot of people do not stand for. When you look at the whole GOP, I believe there are many people with different viewpoints.

BEHAR (interrupting). It seems like mainstream lately to me.

SONNY HOSTIN : If you take a look at the statistics, the majority of extremist violence in America comes from the political left. Right? So, in the past decade, the ADL – the Anti-Defamation League – has counted about 450 U.S. murders committed by political extremists. Right-wing extremists were responsible for 75 percent of those 450 murders.

A second study by the Institute of Research and Education on Human Rights revealed that nearly 1 in 5 Republican state legislators are affiliated with far right groups. So, that works out – when you look at it, to about 22 percent of all Republicans state legislators belong to far-right Facebook groups. You can see it even more if you consider the macro picture. It’s over 60 percent.

He’s certainly not fringe. You are correct. [Looks to Behar]It is now an extreme violent party.

And I think when you have something like January 6 and there aren’t enough consequences to that, violence is the – people see that violence is the way forward. Unfortunately, Republicans seem to have made extremism mainstream.

SARA HAINES: We are superior to this primitive instinct. And it stood up at every corner no matter your party is, to say, ‘that is never okay, you’re out of the game.”

HOSTIN – But this isn’t what you are seeing — the Democrats weren’t at the Capitol.
