The Scales of Injustice – Opinion

America is on its way to chaos if it loses trust in its judiciary system. In 2020, driven by the George Floyd protests and the riots that followed, confidence in policing dropped to a 27-year low — it fell below 50 percent.

The FBI continued to be exposed for its corruption and poor ethics. Peter Strzok (a partisan bad actor) was fired from his job with FBI but was not charged. One of the most disturbing testimony in Congressional history, he glared and smirked with contempt at congressmen. Why? Because he was certain he would be on CNN rather than in jail cells. Andrew McCabe, James Comey’s boss, was fired. However they were not charged. They both landed speaking jobs instead of being locked up in jail cells. McCabe, in fact, got his pension back when the DOJ decided to “settle” with him. A FISA warrant falsification was committed by an FBI lawyer. He was convicted. Clinesmith was sentenced to probation instead of prison. The judge in his case called Clinesmith’s falsification of the warrant an “inappropriate shortcut” — but he didn’t intend to do it. After a retroactive suspension, Clinesmith was reinstated by the DC bar. Also, he was walking. Michael Sussmann, in spite of all evidence to the contrary, still took his time walking.

For the DOJ, anyone and everyone in Trump’s orbit is on a list. Harassment and arrest. Everything is possible. The DOJ and FBI will prosecute selfie-taking cancer-ridden grandmas for walking through the Capitol; they will target parents complaining about corrupt school boards — but if mobs show up at Trump-appointed Supreme Court Justices’ homes, violating federal law, the DOJ and FBI can’t be bothered.

Jeffery Epstein’s clients? Who?

Hunter Who?

Hillary Who

Is justice blind if the DOJ keeps its fingers on the scales? There is a cost to injustice.
