Following the success of Roe v. Wade After being overturned, the viral story of a Ohio 10-year-old girl being raped and impregnated while unable to get an abortion was spread quickly across the political spectrum. Even though the story was only one-sourced from an abortion physician and provided no supporting information, major news media covered it as fact.
This story became a proof point of the harm Republican abortion bans, to the extent that Joe Biden was also involved. The president used the report to rail against pro-life laws, proclaiming “imagine being that little girl” while asserting that Ohio forces raped children to give birth.
Not everyone was as gullible. RedState writers questioned this story and they seem to have valid concerns. And while I didn’t write an article on it, I did have this to say on social media.
If the story is based on a 10-year-old tale, you should not trust it. Things that fit “the narrative” that perfectly usually do so for a reason. Remember the “gun shot victims can’t get care because of COVID” story?

True enough, it seems that the story about a 10-year old boy who refused to have an abortion in Ohio is bogus because of all the Jesus-freak baby-loving Jesus-freaks. That’s no longer supposition, either. Ohio’s attorney general revealed on Monday while speaking to Fox News’ Jesse Watters that there have been no reports of a 10-year-old being raped, including no crime lab results (a rape kit would have been performed).
AG Dave Yost also noted that Ohio’s heartbeat law does not prohibit a minor who was raped from obtaining an abortion. That’s a fact that Democrats, including those in the mainstream media, have steadfastly ignored to this point, instead choosing to speak in generalities about the situation.

Now, some on the left may try to assert that the abortion doctor in Ohio just didn’t report the incident to the authorities. That dog doesn’t hunt, though. Why? Why? Because law requires that minors raped be reported to law enforcement when they request an abortion. This means that the abortion doctor who wrote it is either guilty or liable. LyingOr they Break the law. I’ll let the defenders of this tale choose which one.
To my knowledge, the doctor involved just made it up. It conformed to the left’s narrative far too perfectly in the midst of them desperately looking for an example to promote the supposed righteousness of abortion. Everyone with any brain power ought to have seen the warning signs from the very beginning. Biden does not possess the brainpower, but he wanted to believe that it was true. It was his political weapon to attack those who do not want unborn children to live.
The President of the United States used a false story to promote a false narrative, while encouraging the destruction of human life. If that’s not morally depraved, I don’t know what is. So much for that “return of normalcy and decency to the White House,” right?
