The Harpies of ABC’s The View were having paroxysms over White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki’s replacement Karine Jean-Pierre. Jean-Pierre was Deputy Press Secretary, and covered for Psaki when she was out because of COVID—double vaxxed and boosted, yet Psaki still contracted the virus DoubleWithin a period of 140 days.
Jean-Pierre, Raggedy Jen’s lucrative MSNBC job has forced Raggedy Jen to leave the Oval Office. Jean Pierre will take over the mantle of Jean Pierre on May 13.
It is still going strong with the D.C. to New York press pipeline.
Jean-Pierre is the first Black White House Press Secretary, and also the first LGBTQ Triple Plus one—that we know of. It is hard to believe that this is such a significant event. They are just mouthpieces for their administration and can be as fast as a pancake. A press secretary’s job is to disseminate and explain the administration’s policies and stance, as well as set the tone. There is little to no special in most of these people. Some have stood out because of their obvious manipulation and chicanery, while others are notable for their ability to communicate policy and set the tone. Barack Obama’s spox Jay Carney would be in the former category; George W. Bush spox Tony Snow would be in the latter.
Because no conservative woman with sense will take up Meghan McCain’s mantle, The View has had a revolving door of “Republican” female guests to add to the regular host’s commentary. Lindsey Granger (news correspondent) brought up the potential conflict of interests issue. Jean-Pierre was married to Suzanne Malveaux and was White House Press Secretary. Do you remember the Cuomo brothers. You get the idea.
It’s a legitimate concern, but Fauxpublican Anna Navarro tried to diminish Granger’s point, calling her a “supporter of Trump,” which Granger quickly countered. Granger went on to say that she was a “Black woman first”, and there were many things she did not like about Trump, but she wasn’t afraid to talk about her “conservative values.”
Sunny Hostin was extremely dim and chimed in.
“Are you a Republican?”
Granger responded, “Yes, Sunny,” and tried to continue her point. Hostin intervened.
“I feel like that’s an oxymoron, a Black Republican.”
Granger then pointed at Ana Navarro, a Latina example. Republican Fauxpublican. Hostin replied,
“I don’t understand either of you,” as she rolled her eyes.
“I don’t understand Black Republicans and I don’t understand Latino Republicans.”
Granger countered,
“You don’t understand yourself.”
One speck of truth found in the grain bin. Granger then added this bit of zinger.
“Why? You say you feel it’s an oxymoron, but you’re a Catholic, yet you aren’t pro-life.”
Hostin dismissed this and interjected yet again.
“I don’t understand either of you,” as she either adjusted her earring or played with her earpiece.
The View on Racism: Sunny Hostin says a “black Republican”, is an “oxymoron.”
She snorted at Lindsey Granger, her guest host. “I don’t know Latino Republicans, and I don’t agree with black Republicans.” pic.twitter.com/JJa6N9ff3m— Nicholas Fondacaro (@NickFondacaro) May 6, 2022
Navarro quickly ended the segment by sending up another cheer “celebrating” the appointment of Karine Jean-Pierre.
Heop de Doo and raise the rainbow flags.
Narvarro would not have been a mere shill if she was anything other than a hypocrite. She would also explain why she is a Republican because she is a LatinX. Had Granger been given the time, she would have been able to expound upon those “conservative values,” she claims she holds.
Hostin simply happens to be a product her environment. It is the legacy media bubble which perpetuates the image of Black Republicans, rather than being interested in why this party chose to be over the Democrat Party and what it means for many.
Hostin is an attorney and the ABC News Legal Analyst. She also hosts. The View. One should take note of the legal context. She made a lot of excuses for Jussie Smollett in 2019 when he was accused of being assaulted by MAGA supporters. Then, when it was proved that Smollett had committed a hate crime, Hostin also made excuses. Hostin clearly understands Smollett. She also loves Colin Kaepernick who she indulges in. Hostin’s interview with the failed NFL quarterback is front and center on her website, and she retweets news articles and videos about him like she’s giving out candy.
Her heroes are not like Granger and those icky Black and Latino Republicans that she doesn’t understand, and probably doesn’t care to.
She was a legal analyst and made some truly stupid comments at the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. Hostin also spoke out on the 2nd Amendment to slavery protection.
A Notre Dame Law degree isn’t worth as much as it used to, I guess.
Hostin’s husband is a sports medicine doctor and an orthopedic surgeon. It is doubtful that either of them have ever lived with Latinos or Blacks for more than a decade. Hostin just penned a book about The Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard. Regular visitors The Vineyard it means you’re in rarified company that only certain kinds of Blacks and Latinos will ever frequent.

So, for her to derisively dismiss Black and Latino Republicans as something she doesn’t understand is less a reflection on these groups, and more a reflection on the self-loathing she has for herself. Her given name is “Asunción,” yet she goes by “Sunny.” At least Navarro sticks to her dark hair, while Hostin dyes hers blonde.
Granger is correct: Hostin doesn’t know herself, and probably doesn’t want to, since her goal is to be worlds removed from that Latina-Black girl from the Bronx. Like AOC, Hostin spouts about her race in order to give herself supposed street cred, while living her life of privilege—a privilege she rails against for everyone else. Hostin cloaks herself in her progressive, social justice, WOKE mantle while pretending to be “in touch” with what Blacks and Latinos are really about; playing the progressive champion of the marginalized and underprivileged.
This is where the trouble lies. Blacks and Latinos have become Republicans to protect their Constitutional freedoms. This is not the only position that Republicans take, however we are certain every Democrat supports it. It is our right to choose how we raise and educate them without any government intervention. You have the freedom to live the American Dream, whether you are an entrepreneur or a landowner, as well as the rights to protect those items through the Second Amendment. Many have witnessed the destruction done by this government savior mentality over decades. We prefer to take a different path.
Conservative values, Republican tenets, are completely opposed to the degrading, tone deaf and paternalistic practices and policies of Democrats. You can’t help but laugh at Sunny Hostin for swimming in progressive stew.
You will never be able to.
