Texas tends to be a state that is conservative and red. That is exactly what it is. It is possible to be radical even here in Texas.
In Dallas, a gay bar hosted a “Drag the Kids to Pride” event, aimed at little kids, with even babies in attendance. Children were also encouraged to donate money while drag queens entertained the children. Some kids even got to be onstage with the performers.
From the Blaze
A poster for the “Drag the Kids to Pride” event claims it is the “ultimate family friendly pride experience.”
“Our under 21 guests can enjoy a special Mr. Misster Mocktails while the moms and dads can sip on one of our classic Mr. Misster Mimosa Towers,” the poster reads. “Do you want to hit the stage with the queens? Five spots are available for youth performers who want to perform solo or in a group with one of the queens. Come hangout with the Queens and enjoy this unique pride experience, fit for guests of all ages!”

Behind the dance floor, in neon, it had signs that read “It’s not gonna lick itself” and “I licked it so it’s mine.”

They even taught the children how to pose and walk on the runway in one video. No, this is not grooming kids to be drag performers at all…

Alex Stein of The Blaze tried to attend, but they wouldn’t let him in and assaulted him at the door.

The protestors and those outside of the bar were involved in multiple clashes. The protesters, many of them wearing masks, refused the man’s permission to cross the street. It was then that plainclothes police arrived. The police appeared to have sided with the people, and not the man trying to cross the street.

One attendee even spat on the woman filming what was happening. According to reports, she filed a police report.

Protect Texas Kids, a group that supports children’s rights in Texas, was behind the demonstration and claimed the police removed the children from the bar. WFAA reported that the police said they were there to control crowds. So, it’s not clear if they did anything regarding the children at the event.
Children shouldn’t be in bars or any place where adults are dancing provocatively, much less dancing with them or being taught to give them money. There was other video that I’m not even going to post that is just wrong to be doing in front of kids. All adults who were involved should take a look at it.
