Ron Klain Mocked for Hyping Article: ‘2021 Wasn’t All Bad’

Following Chief of Staff Ron Klain’s logic, 1929 wasn’t all bad if you somehow overlook the stock market crash that led to a 10-year global depression. You can overlook events such as the assassinations in 1968 of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy and the Tet Offensive to Vietnam. There were also riots all across America. If you ignore a multitude of issues, 2021 was also not bad. 

The latter article would be written by Al Hunt, a liberal shillmeister. Liberal shillmeister Al Hunt. The best part is Hunt’s article which was first published in The Hill on Sunday, was promoted on Twitter by Klain, for which he got widely mocked.

Hunt’s article title “Let’s face it: 2021 wasn’t all that bad” is absurd. However, the text beneath reads like something you would find in a Pollyanna parallel world.

Economic activity is strong

The unemployment rate is down to 4.2 percent, the lowest since the pandemic hit, and it’s expected to decline further next year. Both economic and wage growth is strong.

“All the key indices, except inflation, are pointing strongly in the right direction,” says Roger Altman, the senior chairman of Evercore, a leading global investment bank.

The inflation rate is slightly higher than the total wages. Because of the better job opportunities, more people are leaving. The average household net worth has increased by 20 percent in the past year.Bloomberg revealed that Biden had the greatest first year record for any President in the past 50 years, according to ten important economic measures.

It’s all good. Except for the fact that inflation is at its highest level in 40 years. That’s transitory inflation. Other than that, everything is normal.

Biden’s administration is scandal-free

It’s how it should be. But, sometimes that’s not the case.

Think back four years ago: The Trump administration looked more like “The Godfather” — without the skill. HHS Secretary and national security adviser were both caught engaging in illegal or unethical activity and they were exonerated. The heads of the EPA, Interior Department were investigated and were expelled the following year.

Biden’s team is both more trustworthy and more capable.

Biden Administration scandal-free? Hunt might still think that the Laptop from Hell (numbering 10 for “big guy”) was Russian disinformation. Something for Al to think about if he attends one of Hunter Biden’s art shows with works from the great Vincent Van Dough starting at $75,000 a pop. This is better than working six hours per month for Burisma.

Concerning competence. Who could have done the Afghanistan withdrawal more effectively than Joe Biden. The Taliban can use billions upon millions of dollars of our military equipment, which saves them a lot of transportation expenses. The possibility exists that the Taliban may collapse as a result of a supply-chain crisis.

And the big seal of approval from Ron Klain for this over-the-top flack job earned a good laugh on Twitter.
