CDC Director Rochelle Walensky made a stunning comment on “Good Morning America” today.
LATEST – The updated CDC guidelines do not require testing after isolation, as PCR can be positive for 12 weeks. Dr. Rochelle Walsky from the CDC tells that. @GMA. https://t.co/p6HUxeD4Go pic.twitter.com/TmVaF0eRcG

The newly updated CDC guidelines don’t require testing at the end of isolation because PCR tests can stay positive for up to 12 weeks, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky told “Good Morning America” Wednesday. “So we would have people in isolation for a very long time if we were relying on PCRs,” Walensky explained.
Wait, what?
So you mean that the tests aren’t accurate to tell if you still have the virus now? And that you’re just telling us that they might throw positives for up to 12 weeks, even after you might no longer be contagious? We are hearing this only now from the CDC. This has been known for years. These tests have been used by many businesses and individuals to make decisions. They’ve factored into restrictions and lockdowns, and now we hear that they may not be accurate? Hence, why was so much constructed around them?
So they’re just eliminating the need for testing after isolation? How do you know then when you are no longer contagious if you’re now telling us the tests aren’t a good indicator? Then what you’re saying is that you’re just picking a random time to end isolation, after which you may or may not still be contagious?
We can also say clown car administration. I can’t say it enough: Why are they only saying this now? Other people have also raised doubts about the accuracy of their data in the past and been attacked for it. So it’s not something dependent on “new” information that the CDC just discovered.
Walensky said also that Omicron-related rapid antigen testing may not be as sensitive according to FDA data.
“We do know that the most sensitive test you can do is a PCR test,” Walensky said. “So if you have symptoms and you have a negative antigen test, we do ask you to go and get a PCR to make sure those symptoms are not attributable to COVID.” Oh, goody, so the rapid tests might not be as accurate either for Omicron. They were encouraging the use of them, however.
They reduced the time for people who are symptomatic to 10 days. However, they recommend that masks be worn for at least five more days. Dr. Anthony Fauci revealed that at least part of the reason was economic — because otherwise there could be so many people out society could grind to a halt. This morning, Walensky said on CNN that the change “really had a lot to do with what we thought people would be able to tolerate.” Again, sounding a lot more like politics.
Once the Good Guys and Safe People started getting sick, all these supposedly very important precautions fell away quickly, didn’t they. https://t.co/ZYUO3vwUpj

Walensky’s comments understandably set off a firestorm of questions and anger on social media. What’s coming that they’ve suddenly come out with all these “truths?” Is it because the “good people” are getting it so the same rules can’t apply? This is the point where the Biden Team has lost all credibility.
Hi @CDCDirector. Does the above mean that we don’t need a negative test 48-72 hours before flying into the US since fake/irrelevant positives can linger for 12 weeks?

Many “public health” bureaucrats have been making this stuff up as they go along for a long time and are nothing more than political operatives for democrats.
They have been called out by some of us for a while. The veil is beginning to fall. #NoVaccinePassports #NoLockDowns https://t.co/oOvzZzFHga

We have been deceived for two years by so-called experts.
They decimated our companies, caused harm to our children, and Joe Biden now absolves the nation of national responsibility for variants that have been introduced to the vaccined.
Do not live in fear. https://t.co/XtQWVdEW4c
