We reported Tuesday on something few in the mainstream media have bothered to point out, and that is the fact that President Biden has not directly commented a single time on the attempted assassination of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, which the suspect at the center of the plot – 26-year-old Nicholas John Roske – reportedly planned to carry out in the wee-hours of June 8th.
To recap, rather than Biden himself speaking out to condemn Roske for his plan to murder a member of our nation’s highest court because he feared Roe v. Wade was about to be overturned, we’ve gotten statements from his spokespeople who have said he condemns Roske and believes “threats of violence or attempts to intimidate justices have no place in our society.”
It’s a very odd and some would say contrarian position Biden has taken when one considers how he, along with other Democrats and their allies in the MSM, never wastes an opportunity to proclaim that the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riot was a coordinated plan to disrupt democratic norms, something they say happened as a result of former President Donald Trump’s allegedly deliberate attempt to “incite” rioters into action, and also considering how Biden has repeatedly lied in suggesting Capitol police officers were killed in the line of duty on that day.
If someone’s death or potential death is an important enough part of these types of stories – and it most definitely is – they why hasn’t the supposed leader of the free world stepped to the mic and forcefully rebuked Roske in no uncertain terms?
It’s what leaders do, but Joe Biden is not a leader. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on the other side showed how true leadership looks during Wednesday’s Fox News interview. He mentioned that neither the media nor left have given Kavanaugh the attention they deserved despite it being an important story to be focused on because of some of the reasons Democrats stated on the surface about why they had been focusing so heavily on January 6th.

That’s the response Joe Biden should have given immediately after the story broke two weeks ago. But he didn’t, and the reasons why are pretty clear, in my opinion: It’s a crucial midterm election year and one where Democrats are expected to get trounced. Biden, in a nutshell, is – along with his fellow Dems and media accomplices – willing to look the other way on this plot so as to not alienate base voters at a time when they desperately need them to show up at the ballot box.
Some have also argued that Kavanugh’s plot to kill Kavanugh was worse than the Capitol Riot. Roske, for one, admitted that he wanted to assassinate Supreme Court Justices. Although there was violence during Jan. 6, riots, no one has ever claimed in court, or elsewhere that someone breaching the Capitol intended to kill, let alone strike down, an elected official.
So if we play by the left’s rules on this from start to finish, they should be issuing apologies for their encouragement of the “protests” outside of the Justices homes because in the eyes of some that is the equivalent of “incitement,” the very thing Democrats accused Trump of in their impeachment papers.
But as we all know at this point, if Democrats didn’t have double standards they’d have no standards at all, because not only do they not hold themselves to the ones they hold Republicans to, but the media lets them skate by on these matters as well.
