If you’ve followed the politics surrounding COVID-19 for any length of time, you are probably aware of a woman named Rebekah Jones, and depending on your source, you may or may not be completely misinformed.
The liberal media elevated Jones after she claimed to be a “data scientist” who was fired by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for not agreeing to cover up the Sunshine State’s “real” COVID data. Numerous times she was on CNN including as a favourite guest of Chris Cuomo. Numerous press outlets also gave her credibility, using her “data scientist” title as a way to push the idea that she was a person of authority.
But reality showed a very different picture. Jones was actually just a state employee who input data into Florida’s COVID dashboard. She is not a “scientist” and she has never provided an ounce of evidence that she was asked to falsify data. In 2022 her whistleblower claims were rejected, effectively ending DeSantis’s campaign against him and his state.
Jones, however, had moved on to her next grift and was running as a Democrat for Congress against GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz. The campaign was shut down by a judge on Friday.

Leon Circuit Court Judge John Cooper Jones was denied a Democrat run because she wasn’t a registered Democrat for 365 consecutive days before becoming a candidate.
“I don’t think I can come to any conclusion other than this,” Cooper said. “Jones was not a registered member of the Democratic Party almost two months during this period.”
It was questioned whether Jones was legally registered as a Democrat and had she been registered for the time required before running in primary. To be it frankly, she wasn’t, and the judge had no choice but to follow the letter of the law. This means that another Democrat will be electorally drugged in November by Gaetz.
Jones’ involvement in any event would not be complete if Jones lost her mind. Because she shouted at the judge during the ruling, the judge had to expel her from the proceedings.
That is what it means Peggy Schiller wins the Democratic Primary in Florida’s 1st Congressional District by default, though Jones will likely appeal the ruling. While her name will be on the ballot, votes for Jones will not count.
Cooper was forced to expel Jones from the trial after issuing his verdict. She returned to Cooper’s office minutes later. He said that she thought her Zoom software had stopped working. However, Jones shouted at him and claimed she had evidence of her identity being hacked.
This could be Jones’ last public appearance. You’d hope so, but it’s doubtful given how shameless she is. Even so, she can be added to the long list that mainstream media elevated over several years and still look stupid. Michael Avenatti (Julie Swetnick) and Rebekah J. Jones, all of whom lied to DeSantis about which she then went on to lie about her congressional campaign. It’s almost like she’s always been a liar and never should have been taken seriously. Oh, I’m kidding! The press doesn’t care about credibility.
