Robert Reich Cites Kaepernick In Claim That Conservatives Are Free Speech Hypocrites

Conservative Americans hail a revival of freedom speech after Elon Musk took over Twitter. Nutty leftists are citing – of all people — Colin Kaepernick to “prove” conservatives are hypocrites about free speech. 

Former Clinton Secretary of Labor Robert Reich led the parade of lefties who mistook Kaepernick’s mind-blowing career blunders as an example of conservative hypocrisy on free speech.  

On Thursday, Reich tweeted: “So let me get this straight: conservatives love free speech for Elon Musk, but hate free speech for Colin Kaepernick?” 

This left-wing lunacy was one of the many Twitter statements that claimed there was a free speech connection between Kaepernick, conservatives and Kaepernick. 

“Should Musk buy the NFL so he can bring back free speech and Kaepernick won’t be punished.” 

“Republicans LOVE free speech these days. Is Colin Kaepernick their hero now?” 

If lefties truly wanted to score points about free speech, Kaepernick would be the last person they’d choose. 

After bringing partisan politics into the workplace, Kaepernick left the San Francisco 49ers team and an NFL contract. He was not fired. He wasn’t fired. Kaepernick’s marginal status makes it impossible to be a bad person for your employer and yourself in the same year that your contract expires. This is not something that will attract potential employers. 

They would be fired if bank and grocery clerks had repeatedly made it clear that they were not a fan of America or imposed political affiliations upon them. They would not be allowed to finish the workday, unlike Kaepernick who finished the season without suspension, censorship or the loss of his job. 

Kaepernick foolishly sued NFL for blackballing and he demands still today that one of their teams gives him a job. Such self-destructive acts are not the actions of a fool. It was his behavior that made the difference, and not his free speech rights which he never denied.

Kaepernick also constantly denigrates the NFL which reduces his chances of getting a job as a quarterback. His book should be about how to get rid of a potential employer, and then disqualify you for a job. He’s the authority on that topic. A moron wouldn’t trash talk a potential employer and ask it to hire him. 

Twitter banned conservatives. Because they questioned the integrity of 2020’s election, they were de-platformed. Twitter and Facebook were quickly branded as un-American Big Tech censorship. YouTube was also able to shut down conservatives and reduce their audience. 

Kaepernick (seen practicing his free speech in photo from 2016) has never suffered censorship by Twitter or any other social media platforms. He’s a hero to the Left for his free radical speech. 

Yet now conservatives are facing another real threat to their free speech with the Biden Administration instructing the Department of Homeland Security to monitor all Americans’ speech. Colin Kaepernick doesn’t have a thing to worry about from this un-American threat. Conservatives do.
