Kyle Rittenhouse claimed that his Instagram account had been disabled once again, just days after his accounts were restored. Rittenhouse was found not guilty of the charges.
“Hey @instgram! Why did you again disable my account?” Rittenhouse askedFollow us on Twitter. He added that he “did nothing wrong” and postedScreenshots from his apparently disabled account
His account was reportedly reinstated hours later, and Instagram attributed the suspension to “a mistake,” according to Newsweek. “I’m back!! Thanks for restoring my account!” Rittenhouse concluded.
After his conviction, Facebook removed some restrictions that restricted pro-Rittenhouse content. Andy Stone spoke out for Meta, the parent company of Facebook, describing the change.
“While we won’t remove any content which celebrates Kenosha’s death, we will not remove anything that praises Rittenhouse.” he said.
MRC’s CensorTrack.org found 90 incidents of censorship regarding Rittenhouse and his legal defense.
MRC discussed the censorship on Episode Thirteen of “CensorTrack with TR.” The episode discussed “how Big Tech is censoring users who stand with Rittenhouse, sympathize with him, or support the verdict.”
