Robert Crimo III confessed just now to setting up the Highland Park Illinois July 4th Parade. At least 37 people sustained injuries and seven were killed. According to police, he was planning the attack for some time and had previously threatened his family with death. According to the Illinois State Police, he had been given a “Clear and Present Danger report” about Crimo from the Highland Police, but since the family didn’t press charges against him, the Illinois State Police said they still let him get guns, despite the alleged threats.
But Highland Park wasn’t the only city that faced a July 4th celebration that was under threat.
Richmond, Virginia, police announced Wednesday that two illegal aliens had been arrested after plotting a mass shooting during that city’s July 4th fireworks event.
Richmond Chief of Police said that 52-year-old Julio Alvarado-Dubon and 38-year-old Rolman Balacarcel were arrested after a “hero citizen…overheard a conversation” about the plan. The police were alerted and discovered that Alvarado Dubon was carrying two rifles and a handgun along with more than 200 ammunition rounds. Both were arrested for gun possession.

“There’s no telling how many lives this citizen hero saves from one phone call,” Smith said. “One phone call saved numerous lives on the Fourth of July.”
Richmond City Jail currently holds both suspects without bond. No motive for the attack plotted against them has been disclosed.
“We know what their intent was but we don’t have a motive,” Smith said.
Smith addressed reports that one of the suspects has been deported several times and continued to re-enter the country illegally, saying that it was “frustrating” that a person could continue to break the law and have an opportunity to still plan out a mass murder.
Smith stated that the tip saved many lives. This event’s amphitheater can accommodate up to 2,400 persons, which would be a large crowd.

They don’t know what the motive was yet.
Yet again we are confronted with the reality of serious crimes allegedly committed by illegal immigrants, which includes repeat offenders. Joe Biden doesn’t pay enough attention to the problem at the border. It is possible that Richmond residents who were most at risk may have avoided a serious bullet. Unfortunately, Biden’s policies are still putting people in danger.
