I never thought I’d use the words “brilliant” and “Republican Party” in the same sentence, but here we are, dear reader. A rare feat of genius by the Republican National Committee, (RNC), is launching an initiative for gas stations to register voters to address the high gas prices caused by the Biden administration.
Fox Business reported that the RNC had started the campaign Saturday. Staff and volunteers were recruited to register voters at Arizona gas stations. These are located in Phoenix and Scottsdale. This region has seen prices jump to $4.50/gallon.
“Arizonans are frustrated with paying the record-high gas prices we’ve seen recently, this is an issue that affects almost every single Arizonan,” The RNC’s Arizona Communications Director Ben Petersen told the news outlet in a written statement. “There’s no doubt that everyone is feeling the pain at the pump, so a gas station right now may be the very best possible place for one of our volunteers to have a conversation with someone and get someone signed up to vote.”
Gas prices have steadily been increasing under President Joe Biden’s term and recently experienced a sharp spike over the past couple of weeks. “Prices surpassed the $4 mark Sunday for the first time in 14 years which Republicans across the country have argued is a direct result of Biden’s policies,” according to Fox Business.
McDaniel pointed out that under Biden, “families are paying more for gas than ever before.” She continued:
“After killing American energy independence, Biden is turning to our adversaries abroad for America’s energy needs. American families are feeling the pain at the pump, and Biden and the Democrats do not care and are making it worse.”
Scott Presler (conservative activist, and arguably the hardest-working man in Republican politics) is among the leaders leading this effort. He tweeted Monday:

Republicans are masterful in this move. While Democrats are vigorously advocating for teachers to discuss sexuality with kids under the age of seven years old and applauding biological men achieving victories in women’s sports, Presler and the GOP are targeting issues that Americans care about the most.
The Biden administration has struggled to divert blame for inflation and the nation’s economic woes. It does not seem that the Biden administration is fooling anybody. The Democrats are going to be the ones paying the price in political terms at the next midterm elections if this situation doesn’t improve. They seem lost for ideas, unfortunately.
