Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla tested positive for COVID Monday despite receiving four injections of his company’s vaccine, which was developed with BioNTech. He says he’s experiencing mild symptoms and is taking a course of Paxlovid. Paxlovid was manufactured coincidentally by Pfizer and is an antiviral used to treat symptoms.
Bourla was quick to point out that he was “thankful” for the vaccines, which is especially rich considering that he recently revealed that he had to cancel a 2021 trip to Israel due to not being fully vaccinated–with his own product.
Please let me know that my test results are positive. #COVID19. I was very grateful to receive four doses Pfizer BioNTech vaccine. I feel well and have taken Paxlovid.

Of course he’s thankful for the jabs, and thankful for Paxlovid. Pfizer predicts $32B in vaccine revenue and $22B for Paxlovid by 2022. It would bring a smile to my face, too.
This news is coming as First Lady Jill Biden, who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, is now in isolation in South Carolina. Bourla had also been double-vaxxed.
Her office released a statement Tuesday noting that FLOTUS “is only experiencing mild symptoms” and has “been prescribed a course of Paxlovid and, following CDC guidance, will isolate from others for at least five days.” She has not mentioned her illness on her Twitter account as of this time, but we can be sure she’s super-thankful for the vaccines too. It’s become a mantra.
It is interesting to see how often they mention their gratitude, but it almost seems as if they are advertising Pfizer. This guy needs Paxlovid right now, because vaccine was not enough. pic.twitter.com/C6MFtuSqRR

Her husband Joe Biden was also able to test negative for COVID on August 6, after he had recovered from a lengthy bout. Chief Medical Advisor to the President Dr. Anthony Fauci suffered an extended battle with the ‘rona, too, as both he and the president experienced “rebound COVID” after the Paxlovid treatment. Doesn’t really seem like a pandemic of the unvaccinated, does it?
What are the so-called rare rebound Paxlovid case? CNBC reports:
Some patients who took Pfizer’s Paxlovid after contracting the coronavirus have reported the same phenomenon: Days after they finished a five-day course of the oral drug and felt better, their Covid symptoms or a positive test result returned…
Roughly 5% of the tens of thousands of Paxlovid users have experienced rebound cases so far, White House Covid response coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha said at a news conference last month…
Sometimes it’s easy to forget the FDA has not approved Paxlovid and all mRNA vaccines currently in use. They are both being used with an emergency authorization. Bourla thinks they’re great, though, and believes we’ve made great strides in the battle against COVID, tweeting Monday, “I am incredibly grateful for the tireless efforts of my Pfizer colleagues who worked to make vaccines and treatments available for me and people around the world.” Radio host and OutkickClay Travis, the founder, is less excited:
Dr. Jill Biden was positive for covid, despite having received four covid shots. This would not have happened if she had received a fifth covid shot. Really disappointing she hadn’t gotten one already. The Biden’s need to take the virus more seriously. They’re going to kill my grandmother.

The number of people who are suffering from COVID has increased. Some of these cases can be very serious, as was the case with Tony Fauci and Joe Biden. Author and COVID vax critic Alex Berenson, recently restored to Twitter after being banned for almost a year, was the most succinct, writing on his Substack in late July:
The mRNA vaccines failed.
Provably. Indisputably. Centers for Disease Control’s risk estimations are bogus garbage. They are based on data from hospitals and states that deliberately underestimate the amount of Americans who were hospitalized or have died.
Berenson is wrong. The mRNA vaccinations were a huge success. For Pfizer.
