Per an announcement from the Russian president, his military forces are moving into greater Ukraine, including Kyiv, in order to “demilitarize” and “denazify” the sovereign nation.

This story will keep going throughout the night. You will see many updates and it will be time for debate as to how much the United States should get involved in any response. I don’t believe that time is now, though. People are dying as I type, because of the delusions and grandeur of a dictator. At the very least, that should be condemned for what it is, even if one believes it’s not our fight.
This situation and the absurd decisions made by US leaders to empower Putin are all relevant. They deserve an in-depth reckoning. It will. Now, please pray for Ukraine’s victims tonight. We’ll get to the rest later.
