Showing that they will never change or truly “turn” on Joe Biden, the networks are ignoring the latest Hunter Biden bombshell and how it might ensnare his president dad. All of this is particularly relevant as questions continue to be raised about Joe Biden’s toughness in questioning China over the origin of COVID.
Fox News was reporting on the scandal on Friday in a different way than ABC, CBS, and NBC. Here’s Dana Perino on America’s Newsroom: “Fox Business obtained new e-mails that show Hunter Biden investing in Chinese firms with close ties with top communist officials..”
She said:
Here’s part of an e-mail sent to Hunter in 2015 by a former close adviser to Vice President Biden inviting Hunter to China. Quote, “Bo Zhang and his family would host us. They’re a family that is very respectful of China and has great relations. They are very private and wouldn’t tell anyone about you coming. Bo’s father-in-law is actually the Governor of Hainan Provence, which he doesn’t advertise at all.”
This was something that neither the Friday morning or evening newscasts covered. Here’s how Fox Business broke the story on Thursday:
According to FOXBusiness emails, Hunter Biden’s private equity company held a position in a Chinese-owned business run by a Chinese executive as recent March 2017.
Hunter Biden’s longtime business partner, Eric Schwerin, sent him an email in March 2017 breaking down the ownership interests of Rosemont Seneca Advisors, which included a 5% stake in Harves Amusement Parks and ownership in Harves Sports and Entertainment.
This statement is particularly relevant given the United States’ ongoing problems with China and COVID. Steven Nelson of the New York Post asked if Hunter’s connection to communist China was a conflict of interest.

STEVEN NELSON: Well, President Biden, on the coronavirus, we’re tragically approaching nearly one million Americans who’ve died and I’d like to ask you why it is during your three and a half hour virtual summit in November with the Chinese president you didn’t press for transparency and also whether that has anything to do with your son’s involvement in an investment firm controlled by Chinese state-owned entities?
JOE BIDEN: The answer is that we did — I did raise the question of transparency. He was very kind and spent lots of time with me. He — the fact is they’re just not being transparent.
NELSON: Do you want transparency on coronavirus’s origins?
BIDEN: Yes.
NELSON: You did it during the virtual summit.
BIDEN: Yeah.
NELSON – Is it possible that the Chinese president was not informed by your media staff?
BIDEN: They weren’t there the whole time.
The transcript from Wednesday shows that Biden stunned everyone when he claimed he had pressed China about the origins COVID. The White House’s story has radically changed from back in November. In a NewsBusters survey this week, I found that the networks only allowed five minutes for Hunter Biden scandals 2021. So far, things don’t look much better in 2022. They need to do their job and look into all possible conflicts of interests that the President might have with his son.
