“Well, well, well, if it isn’t the consequences of my own actions.” That’s the theme of a new video out of Portland that shows the city’s residents complaining about the state of things.
Andy Ngo, a journalist covering Antifa attacks across the US who started his career in Portland, released the video showing people complaining about the number of homeless in Portland. The worst part is that whenever contractors clean up the area in question, Antifa attackers attack them.

You can respond in two ways if you are looking from the outside. As someone looking in from the outside, I might recognize how these individuals are struggling. There is no easy way for them to make a change while their neighborhood is destroyed by homeless encampments. This brings with it rampant crime as well as sickness. I can also see that Portland is one the far leftest and bluest cities in America. This could explain why its citizens, which includes most of those in the video, continue to vote for Democrats who only do more harm than good.
Take a guess at what response I’m going with.
In 2020, Portland’s mayoral contest came down to a radical Democrat named Ted Wheeler and an open communist named Sarah Iannarone. These two candidates won 86 percent, while the communist lost less than 6 percent (40.76% of the total votes).
There’s a certain meme online about sowing and reaping that I’m not going to post (because of the language used), but I think you can guess the overall theme. It’s all fun and games when you are virtue signaling by voting for a communist. It’s a different ballgame when the homeless encampment takes over your neighborhood and makes it unsafe for your kids to go outside while your home is devalued. Suddenly, being woke isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, is it?
Even if Portland voters stop voting for Democrat representatives who place anarchy above order, it’s not fair to them. You get what you vote for, and that’s never been more true than in this situation. Insanity can be defined as doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting to get a different outcome. Voters who are fed up are welcome to show they aren’t insane in the next election. They are best to get along until that day.
