There’s a story that hasn’t been getting a lot of the network news yet, and it may not — because it involves allegedly armed leftists and an armed homeowner.
Leftists gathered at Normandale Park in Portland on Saturday to protest the shooting death of Amir Locke by police in Minneapolis, Minnesota on February 4. At the park, a homeowner confronted the members of the group. Witnesses said there was much arguing between homeowner and group members. A second report states that the homeowner confronted the group about blocking traffic. This is common BLM behavior. The shooting then began.
Both the homeowners and the leftists were not happy with the outcome of this encounter.
Five people were injured and at least one victim was killed. Oregon Live was told by a source who had direct knowledge that the homeowner was one of those injured.
According to a source, three of the injured sustained life-threatening injuries. One was the victim of a protester’s gunshot.
According to the source, it appears that the neighbor who was attacked by an armed man did not act alone.
Investigators recovered at least eight shell casings from the scene matching the neighbor’s .45-caliber gun, the source said. Source says police recovered one gun round. Investigators suspect that others may have been removed from the scene by those present.
Police issued a statement Sunday, calling the scene at the park “extremely chaotic.”
“… (A) number of witnesses were uncooperative with responding officers,” police said in the statement. “Most people on scene left without talking to police. The investigation suggests that many witnesses or those who recorded the events witnessed them. This is a very complicated incident, and investigators are trying to put this puzzle together without having all the pieces.”
Typical reaction even if they are shot: They won’t talk to the police. Is anyone actually removing shell casings at the site? This would indicate that somebody is trying to hide something and could also be a criminal act.
After the press conference, which was to discuss the Sunday shooting, the police were interrupted by protestors and stopped. The police officer let them go because they were doing something different. But they were so incoherent it was hard to even decipher what they were trying to say apart from screaming that “white supremacists” were trying to kill them and the woman yelling about people trying to kidnap her. At times, the cop tried to not laugh at them. The rant was very interesting. Should we also tell her that the mask she’s trying to rant through is completely ineffective?
Caution for graphic language
They claimed that they were the ones terrorized by “Andy Ngo doxxing them.” Meanwhile, it’s been residents, the police of the city, and Andy Ngo who have been terrorized by BLM/Antifa for the past couple of years in dozens of riots and violent actions. Ngo was attacked numerous times.
They’re complaining about the police response, but aren’t these the people who want to defund the police? They don’t realize the inconsistency of their thinking. They are unable to accept everything and will do anything they can against the police.
After Nathan Sheppard leaves the presser they verbally attack Nathan Sheppard. They don’t care if you disagree with them, however, black lives do matter. They’re still trying to dictate to him.

We’ll have to see how this shakes out and what charges there are for anyone, but imagine you have an emergency declared for actual peaceful protests in Canada yet Portland has been out of control with violent BLM/Antifa/radical leftist protests for years. All of this madness continues.
