Between May and June is when the SCOTUS rulings on the cases of consequence—like Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health—begin to come down, and Americans watch with bated breath.
However, given the current state of affairs for both the Democrats and Left (but I am repeating myself), they don’t believe that the Supreme Court will be ruled by three Trump-appointed justices. This is especially after their decisions on the Texas Heartbeat law and vaccine mandates. Bonchie and Jonathan Turley, who are SCOTUS watchers, have already contributed. The prognosticators have indicated that they believe oral argument tea will be successful. Roe v. WadeAffected persons will most likely be affected, even if they are not already.
POLITICO knows that few people are going to look past the headline—they are simply going to react. If this week’s meltdown over Elon Musk buying Twitter shows, expect another nuclear-grade blast from Pro-Choice and Pro-Aborts and Baby Killers all across the globe.
Here’s some meat from the article:
The Supreme Court has voted to strike down the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito circulated inside the court and obtained by POLITICO.
It hasn’t voted Anything yet. A “Version draft” opinion is just that—a draft. This is what we call inflammatory.
And “inside the court”? The question now is: Who leaked it? This Supreme Court has not known for this until the past few months, first with the leak of Justice Stephen Breyer’s retirement by White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain, and then the ridiculous “Mask Gate.” Guess whose aide was responsible for that one?
What Sotomayor adviser leaked it? https://t.co/Yfqhm5g3RN

According to my colleague, streiff’s report, Justice Sotomayor is also quite leaky with her rants. It seems she doesn’t know which way the winds blow. We will see how it turns out, but we are confident that Justice Sotomayor is leaking.
POLITICO, meanwhile, grabs the ball using heated language in an attempt to increase outrage.
The draft opinion is a full-throated, unflinching repudiation of the 1973 decision which guaranteed federal constitutional protections of abortion rights and a subsequent 1992 decision – Planned Parenthood v. Casey – that largely maintained the right. “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Alito writes.
“We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled,” he writes in the document, labeled as the “Opinion of the Court.” “It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”
It is unlikely that any one will ever get to the last sentence. POLITICO conveniently hides the truth:
The past has seen fluid discussions about controversial cases. Draft opinions can circulate among justices, and judges can change their vote. Large decisions may be the subject to several drafts and vote trading. Sometimes this can happen just days before an actual decision is revealed.. The court’s holding will not be final until it is published, likely in the next two months.
This is a desperate effort to unite bloodthirsty supporters and force the Justices to allow them to vote for preservation. Roe. It would be wise for pro-life conservatives to push back against just as hard and expose POLITICO and the Left’s tactics.
Here’s my salvo. Make sure to eat your popcorn.
