Windsor police have finally begun to crack down on protestors at the Ambassador Bridge. After the thinned crowd on Friday, I had predicted that Saturday would see it. It wasn’t difficult to see; the people would move when they had less people.
The police announced a short time ago that they were starting their “enforcement action.”
The Windsor Police & its policing partners have commenced enforcement at and near the Ambassador Bridge. We urge all demonstrators to act lawfully & peacefully. Commuters are asked to stay clear of the affected areas during the protests.

They’re trying to get people to give up, and are now talking to protesters. They are ready to bust the protesters if necessary.

Protesters were confronted by officers from all sides. A large police armored personnel vehicle was raised in the distance. On the roof of the Customs Building, snipers. pic.twitter.com/sI295G7hUV

Are snipers needed to protect peaceful citizens? They didn’t even have that in the U.S., with the violent BLM/Antifa actions. According to CBC reporters, they brought several armored vehicles.

They are not being surrounded by police, but some of them hang on.

Here’s a live feed.
A lot of the people who were there last night went home and haven’t come back yet. It’s not clear if they will ultimately leave, although some did. The protest was peaceful, with no children. Now, the protestors are talking to police about their opposition to freedom and they are criticizing them. The protesters are saying that the government is concerned about the blockage at the bridge being bad for the economy, but they didn’t seem to mind how the restrictions and mandates in Canada have truly harmed the economy, the country, and people’s lives.
They have been pushed out by police. However, police have yet to arrest anyone; instead they seem to just be sitting there.
We’ll keep you updated.
