We reported that Ottawa police moved into the Freedom Convoy protestors’ homes this morning. A couple of organizers had been arrested by police on Thursday. It was a sign that the police would be taking action. So that they wouldn’t have to deal with thousands of newcomers, they tried to make sure everyone was gone before weekend. While they did a lot of arrests Friday, they may not have achieved their aim, as there were so many people — and more will be coming.
The police arrived with their names covered, so they couldn’t be seen on their uniforms, and with tow trucks that the government had said they would conscript into service under the Emergencies Act invoked by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Some trucks’ names were not marked on plates and some had their plates covered. One driver even had his face hidden by a mask. These people are not proud of their actions.

It was unbelievable to see the scenes at Ottawa, where dozens of officers are armed and a large tow truck arrive.

As a precaution against dissenting Canadians, police are currently breaking into vehicles of protestors.

Here you can see the mask worn by the towtruck guy.
The windows on the vehicle being tow were probably smashed. There are no longer any demonstrators on Nicholas St. They’ve either been arrested or have left on their own. pic.twitter.com/Bi1qSCfVpI

Media reported that the police were even trying to hold them back from the enforcement area — presumably to prevent them from seeing what was going on.
Protesters tried to keep the line when the police arrived, and locked arms with police to stop them from leaving. They were not fighting back against the police, although one Fox News reporter said they were “shoving.” Indeed, it was the police shoving and trying to break the line, precipitating the action. The people were holding the backs of the people locking arms, so no one was actually physically shoving the police — they were just “holding the line” of people.
One point, police pulled a protester from the man they were linked to and then began to kick him. He disappeared behind the line of police officers.

An additional encounter involved a veteran who was being removed by police.

Here is another protester, who was apparently being assaulted by police with a baton. These people did not respond to police. They merely refused to be removed from the locked armlines. These people are beaten and kicked with weapons.

They had a lot of fun at the protest, which included bouncy house, spas and snowball fights such as that they had Thursday evening. These were the dangerous “terrorists.”

But in a symbol of how broken Canada’s freedoms now are, the police even destroyed the bouncy houses on Friday.

This is also a good picture of the wreckage of Justin Trudeau’s career.
Even though the city has gotten rid some of its more radical progressives, it still left evil liberals at the top, like Deputy Chief Steve Bell and Matt Torigian who were not willing to execute this plan. This is outrageous.
Protesters are still visible, but the police could have underestimated what it would take to get them away. They might have the weekend if they get through all of this. We’ll keep you updated as this continues to unfold.
