Optimism Erupts on Morning Joe: Praise ‘Most Successful’ Pelosi, Predict Biden Poll Recovery

Democrats fear the dark clouds of potential loss in the next midterms. Biden’s poll numbers and Harris’ ratings are worse. It seems like every day another Democrat Congressman is choosing to retire over the chance of returning as a minority member.

Do not worry. Morning Joe is riding to the rescue to lift Democrat spirits! Did you remember the panel that believed Trump was heading for his political death? On Monday, the panel went out of its way to praise Nancy Pelosi, one of “the most successful” speakers. Never mind she keeps losing her majority.

Und Biden’s terrible poll numbers? The optimistic assure that happy days are coming soon. Morning Joe panel. Jonathan Lemire passes along happy talk from his White House pals —  I mean, sources — claiming that they’ve “turned the corner.” Joe Scarborough believes that Covid cases and inflation will be “washed out” and that Biden will see a rebound in numbers across several metrics including the economy and support from blacks, Hispanics and Democrats.

Scarborough predicted confidently that all traditional parts of the Democrat base would return to the fold by the time the elections are over. 

You will be surprised at how much Morning JoeIt was because of the success of “Build back Better”, the enormous spending program. It is like cheering the home team on for winning at halftime. This is like applauding Nancy Pelosi because she passed “cap-and-trade” pollution regulations during the Obama years. It never got moved by the Senate. This didn’t occur.

It is slightly more recent than other surveys but still six points lower than the last poll. . . However,The president now has the Build Back better bill. This is the broad package of social spending that he will run.The House passed the following Friday:

JOE SCARBOROUGH. Nancy Pelosi is now the leader in pushing through Affordable Care Act. Also, she was the driving force for pushing through Covid relief earlier in the year and transportation bill. Now, it’s time to Build Back Better.

MIKA: Wow!

SCARBOROUGH: Certainly, you look at her resume of what she’s been able to shepherd through the House. This was not going to be possible, as I was told by cynics after cynic. 

But let’s just start with Nancy Pelosi. As a legislative leader, Nancy Pelosi is undoubtedly the most accomplished Speaker ever., doesn’t she?

KATTY KY: I can recall thinking after passage of the Affordable Care Act that Barack Obama owed Nancy a bouquet of flowers throughout her entire life. Pelosi’s power to win the votes makes Joe Biden likely join that flower-gifting group.

According to White House officials, this represents a pivotal moment. For the administration that Friday was an important deal to move this bill through the House. The Senate is still far from its final stages, they acknowledge. . . 

But The White House thinks they are on the right track. These poll numbers are expected to rise once again, according to the White House.

SCARBOROUGH – His numbers on inflation are 33%. They’ll stay there until The inflation rate will drop over the next six- to nine months. This is what it should. It is the same with economics. I predict that once those Covid cases end, these numbers will rise back up.
