During her appearance on Jonathan Capehart’s MSNBC show on Sunday, NPR journalist Maria Hinojosa claimed it was vital to “get the narrative straight and correct”
However Hinojosa began to fabricate her own false story. Hinojosa accused the border agents of “whippeding” black Haitian migrants.
Let’s get this out of the way:
This is a very difficult thing to admit. I also know that the Administration doesn’t like it. The one thing that I believe we should at least do is Make sure you are clear and accurate in your narrative.
Joe Biden was not without his share of opportunities. As when We saw black Haitians being whipped by horsesmen. He would then have had the opportunity to say, “This is it!” Top/bottom, we’re reforming Border Patrol completely.
This, despite the fact that the agents have been cleared of charges, and the photographer who took the photos in question having said that they had been misconstrued, and that he had never seen any whipping.
Biden weighed in on justice when he announced that agents responsible would “pay” after the news broke. Biden’s administration initiated an investigation, and Alejandro Mayorkas (DHS Secretary) said that it would take “days, or even weeks” to complete. The 500-page report was completed back in September 2021. The Biden administration withheld it seven months later, despite Republican requests for its release.
If the Whiping Allegations had been supported by the report, Biden would surely have made it public and, as per his promise, proceeded to “pay” the guilty parties. The fact that the report continues to accumulate dust strongly suggests its exculpatory nature.
Did Capehart respond to Hinojosa’s unfounded accusations of whipping? It is not. He thanked her profusely for “giving voice” to people on the other end of the border.
Note: incredibly, Capehart appeared to believe that there’s no illegal immigration. One time, he stated:
The previous administration tried every trick it had to stop illegal immigration. The legal immigration is and quote unquote, illegal immigration.”
“Quote unquote, illegal immigration?”Capehart, would you throw out the laws governing immigration and allow people from all over the globe to enter the US through the US borders?
On Jonathan Capehart’s MSNBC show, NPR’s Maria Hinojosa falsely accusing border agents of having “whipped” Haitians attempting to cross the southern border was sponsored in part by Johnson & Johnson, maker of Zyrtec, Intel, Dell, GlaxoSmith Kline, maker of Parodontax, Walmart, and Dove.
