NFL Prospect Set To Be First Player Drafted With Two Moms

It would appear that we can’t even joyfully anticipate the NFL Draft without making it a platform to celebrate the LGTBQIA+ agenda.

Trey McBride, Colorado State University’s tight end, won the Mackey Award as the best college tight end after accumulating 90 passing yards for 1,121 yards. He also scored a touchdown.

However, his ability as an athlete won’t be the focus of this weekend. There is something more to this athlete than that.

McBride is set to become the first NFL Draft selectee that has two moms, something NBC’s “Today” was all too glad to highlight.

“They’ve done a great job of pushing me to be the best person of myself, constantly getting support and love,” he said.

While that may be true, this should not be the focal point of an athlete’s rise to being a professional. If he’s a successful athlete or has a particularly inspiring story, then that’s what his coverage should be about.

The NFL should not be focused on something unimportant and instead focus on what is exciting about adding more athletes to their league. But that’s as likely to happen as it is that Aaron Rodgers will stop being a drama queen.
