MSNBC appointed Alex Wagner as host for the Rachel Maddow hour, Tuesday through Friday. Discuss why MSNBC believes she is their new Cronkite. Brian Stelter from CNN suggested it wasn’t unreasonable to assume Wagner would be a rating superhero just like Maddow. Sean Hannity beat Maddow every year, but don’t tell him. They do not want to add Fox News ratings.
Maddow is regarded as “high-powered intelligence” and her show is more about facts than opinions, since 2008’s debut. Boston Globe informed its liberal readership that Maddow was “affable and erudite,” she’s “cripplingly patriotic” and has a “yen for national-security issues.”
Second half of the broadcast will examine how Planned Parenthood now instructs their protesters which words or images are most effective. Also, some unexpected words and images have become out-of-fashion. All of this rhetorical instruction will likely be picked up by pro-abortion media.
