The platform locked the account after the satire site posted that Rachel Levine was the site’s “Man of the Year.” Levine is a transgender woman.

“I just received this notice that we’ve been locked out of our account for ‘hateful conduct,’” Dillon tweeted.

The message of the platform read: “You may not promote violence against, threaten, or harass other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease.”

Dillon said the account’s suspension of twelve hours would count down after the site deletes the tweet.

“We’re told our account will be restored in 12 hours, but the countdown won’t begin until we delete the tweet that violates the Twitter Rules,” Dillon tweeted.
