New Study Significantly Undermines Government Justification for Vaccine Mandates – Opinion

Federal government have been relentlessly pushing COVID-19 vaccination mandates ever since last summer. They initially said they wouldn’t implement this regime but they started working with contractors and federal employees. But the real turning point was Joe Biden’s announcement of a vaccine mandate for private companies. That OSHA rule remains a mystery, though many major corporations have already followed the president’s lead in enforcing their own mandates.

One justification for this intrusion on liberty has been given throughout the process: It is necessary to safeguard the unvaccinated.

In fact, that was the overwhelming theme in Biden’s angry, divisive speech on his private business mandate. He spoke of the unvaccinated as an evil, almost murderous segment of the population, and he did so again just last week when he joked about the unvaccinated not having the “freedom” to spread the virus. Biden, and all federal officials have shown that COVID-19 is not transmitted to the unvaccinated.

Yet, a new study confirms what many of us have been saying for a long time — the vaccinated not only spread COVID-19, but they do so at around the same rate as everyone else.

People inoculated against Covid-19 are just as likely to spread the delta variant of the virus to contacts in their household as those who haven’t had shots, according to new research.

In a yearlong study of 621 people in the U.K. with mild Covid-19, scientists found that their peak viral load was similar regardless of vaccination status, according to a paper published Thursday in The Lancet Infectious Diseases medical journal…

…“Our findings show that vaccination alone is not enough to prevent people from being infected with the delta variant and spreading it in household settings,” said Ajit Lalvani, a professor of infectious diseases at Imperial College London who co-led the study. “The ongoing transmission we are seeing between vaccinated people makes it essential for unvaccinated people to get vaccinated to protect themselves.”

The study showed a slight difference in infection rates between the unvaccinated (13%), but they discovered that viral loads were essentially equal among both groups, leading to similar spreading rates within households. The vaccine may make you less susceptible to getting sick. ContractThe disease is yours, however you can help. spreadIt to other people at the same or close to the same rates as everyone else.

This is something I’ve been saying for a long time because Delta-wave infection rates made it apparent. For Vermont to not have witnessed its own disaster is impossible. highest caseload ever with over 88% of adults vaccinated if the vaccinated weren’t spreading the virus at a high rate. We’ve seen that same thing play out in other countries, as well.

What this all does is completely destroy the federal government’s justification (and the justification of state governments and private businesses) to mandate vaccines. This study showed that vaccinations are a personal choice if everyone transmits the virus at approximately the same rate. A person who isn’t vaccinated does not put a person at risk. You are not abusing “freedom” as Biden suggested by not getting vaccinated.

Instead, everybody is at risk. Therefore, people need to make their decision about getting vaccinated. They are most likely to contract COVID-19 from someone they know, vaccinated or not. It is impossible to prevent this from happening, no matter how many mandates are put in place.

That we ever got to the point of taking people’s jobs over these mandates is disgusting. Federal government must have known beforehand that vaccine recipients spread the virus. The president, along with others, have dismissed the unvaccinated and called them grandma murdering morons. This type of division is never good.
