MSNBC’s Saturday Sermon: Ban ‘Assault Weapons’ — And Abolish Police!

Joe Scarborough really needs to keep an eye on the programming on his own network, MSNBC.

It would make him realize how absurd it all was. He claimed earlier this week, that only “a paranoid minority” considers there’s any threat that guns could ever be removed. From law-abiding Americans.

Take Saturday morning. Cross Connection. In a segment on the Uvalde school shooting, guest Jasmine Crockett—a member of the Texas House of Representatives and candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives—said that in her notion of gun reform, “There is no reason to purchase an AR-15,”

Cross agreed with Crockett’s sermon and told Crockett she was “amazed” by Crockett’s words.Preaching to the Choir.”

Brittany Packnett Cunningham was a frequent guest and outlines the gun-grabbing strategy in clear terms.

Take AR-15s, and similar assault weapons, off the streets . . . It is time to end violence. It is all about. Remove assault weapons Minimum.”

OK! Grabbering “assault arms” is what the government ought to do. Can I keep my cap gun?

Cunningham would be unable to disarm law-abiding Americans. Her advocacy for “disarming the police” was also a key point. And in a flight of true insanity, she said that America must “abolish all policing”  Also, she spoke out about straight-up “abolition.”

Cunningham, her colleagues and others have clearly not learned anything from cities with reduced police funding. The ultimate tragedy would be to eliminate the police. Cunningham was concerned about “black and brown” people, so those would most suffer.

Joe Scarborough! Cross ConnectionSaturdays, 10 am You can tune in to see the leftist lunacy your network supports, including gun confiscation!

Cross mentioned the “disturbing clip” from an earlier episode of “Police Terrorizing Black and Brown People” when Cross agreed with Cunningham. The incident occurred when a deputy was following a motorcyclist and accidentally discharged his stun guns, setting fire to the biker. He had also been covered in gasoline from his bicycle’s overturn. The deputy and both the biker were later charged.

Tiffany Cross, who advocated for the use of AR-15s, assault weapons, and disarming officers and abolishing policing, on MSNBC, was sponsored by Progressive, T-Mobile and Subaru.

JASMINE ROCKETT: How does it make sense? simple gun reform. The AR-15 does not exist.Particularly for 18-year olds. You don’t need it! It is unnecessary! Perhaps law enforcement wouldn’t be as scared if he didn’t own an AR-15. We need to be honest about the problem and start solving it, not creating new ones.

TIFFANY’S CROSS Preaching to the choir? . . . Jasmine’s point about police officers fearing going in is one that I agree with. Their fear of the AR-15 was what they were afraid. Fear is what law enforcement fears. AR-15 — perhaps it isn’t a gun that should go on the streets.

BRITTANY PACKNETT CUNNINGHAM: Perhaps It is not something that you should have on your streets.Maybe the direction in which we concentrate laws in this country could actually be used, not just to finance mental health care that everybody wants in times like these but also to go to Get AR-15s and similar assault weapons out of public places . . The tools of violence must be removed. This is about getting rid of assault weapons.Minimum amount of assault ammunition

Also, I want to add that these officers were not allowed inside the school and would have no choice but to protect innocent teachers and children. Police officers can kill someone when they fear for their own lives. This is why we must seriously review the whole institution of police. What is the point of policing?

We need to confront the hero worship we are displaying around American police officers. Uvalde, I believe, is tragically, an example of how problematic the institution, while not being incompetent at all, is.

The police can kill, tase and maim innocent people out of fear, but they will not stop unarmed persons from murdering children.

. . .

Recognizing that television and film are dominated by a cultural narrative, we must recognize the fact that police officers are heros and heroes. All they do with authority should be respected.

It is not the lack of recognition that other countries offer, but we are able to look at them and see that they have their own uniqueness. At the very minimum, arming and demilitarizing officers is a good idea. However, it’s important to think creatively about what we could do to abolish current policing. It’s time to get down to the heart of public safety. That’s what our communities deserve. This isn’t about taking away what’s available, but about creating healthier communities and solutions. The institution of policing We have been convinced for far too long that they are there to protect and serve when needed What they are doing is enforcing government will. They terrorize often black and brown individuals to achieve this.
