Clarence Thomas, like a modern-day George Wallace, standing in the Supreme Court doorway, declaring, “segregation today, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.”
As absurd as that scenario sounds, something like that could happen—if you believe Glenn Kirschner. Jonathan Capehart was interviewed by the MSNBC legal analyst. Sunday ShowWith New York TimesCharles Blow is the columnist and substitute host.
Kirschner responded to Blow’s question about privacy rights after Roe.
“Oh, that’s what I thought.” Privacy rights are almost gone.It doesn’t matter if it’s gay marriage or interracial, as Justice Thomas might consider ironic, but it does not matter if it’s contraception. And “I don’t think they will come after desegregation.”
Kirschner suggested a “full frontal assault” on the Supreme Court.Although he said it was “nonviolent assault”, He called for an attack on the Supreme Court three times. Trump called for peaceful and patriotic marches to the Capitol in 2021. Democrats are calling for Trump to be charged with inciting the riot.
Kirschner also urged Congress toStart impeachment proceedings against conservative JusticesRoe, “deceived” the American people during confirmation.
Kirschner suggested also packing the Supreme Court With additional justices
Blow, in his ponderous, not-made-for-TV cadence, agreed with Kirschner. Blow said that “we”—then tried to cover himself, saying, “the Democrats”—need to go on the attack.
Note: Kirschner was the lunatic who demanded that Trump be tried for homicide His handling of Covid. Prosecute Trump—the guy who spearheaded Project Warp Speed, which developed vaccines in record time?

10:04 am EDTCHARLES BLOW – The abortion case is in essence a privacy case. What is the future for privacy rights after Roe?
GLENN KIRSCHNER – Oh! Privacy rights are likely to be abolished. It doesn’t matter if it is Gay marriage. It doesn’t matter if it is interracial marriageI consider this to be irony for Justice Thomas. It does not matter whether it is Contraception. And, It’s not possible for me to believe that they won’t come after desegregation.
Charles, it’s not necessary to just sit there and accept the consequences. It’s what we feel and look like. It’s a slogan we all know from a certain time, but I was reminded. Although it struck me at first as somewhat vulgar, I now realize that it is the economy, stupid. Actually, in 2022 it will be the democracy.
If we don’t,You must continue to attack the Supreme Court with all your might.Of course, non-violent attack. There are two sides to this story.
The other is Congress must be open to impeachment inquiries. We all know that in their eagerness to become Justices judges deceived American citizens by changing the answers they gave. My bet is that they will not only take oath publicly but also behind closed doors.
It would be a subpoena to all the persons they talked with regarding their opinions on Roe v. Wade. It is known that judges must take an oath and swear they do so without any intention of cheating or mental reservation. Some of them evaded. They were insincere. We should at most open hearings in order to examine Clarence Thomas’ conflict and the possible deception of judges in their zeal for becoming justices. They knew that they would at any moment overrule women’s privacy rights. While they answered questions, there was nothing to worry about. Roe, to my mind, is a precedent worth respect.
The attack must continue. Also, we need to look at adding JusticesThis may eventually require a supermajority of Congress. However It is time to attack. This is not the way to go.
BLOW: What do you think?Glenn’s statement that Democrats must attack us is my point.
