MSNBC: America To Blame for Griner Imprisonment—Unequal NBA/WNBA Pay!

In action: The Blame America Second Brigade

Nayyera Hq, a former Obama aide spoke on Saturday’s MSNBC program about Brittney Griner’s Russian imprisonment.

“We are experts in our field” The only reason she was there was because she couldn’t make the same salary in America as NBA players. This is the American disparity in American Life”

Cross’s one-word response: “terrifying!”

According to Haq: it’s really the United States, with its unequal pay for men and women, that is responsible for Griner’s predicament!

Griner wouldn’t have traveled from the United States to Russia to represent the WNBA if her annual salary was $45 million. Steph Curry is the second-ranked player in the NBA.

Cross and Haq wrongly criticized the inequity of NBA and WNBA players’ pay. Griner’s income is not an issue in American life. Instead, it is due to the freedom of the market.

Griner earns the highest WNBA salary at $228,000. The Phoenix Mercury will pay Griner her salary, even though she is in Russian prison.

This is supported by so many data points. Let’s begin with this:

This article was published in the most recent year. The NBA earned $7.4 million Billion In revenue. The WNBA generated. . .. $60 Million. This is a ratio of 123:1.

The average WNBA salary, according to that article is $71,635. If you use the same 123 to 1 ratio, then your average NBA salary will be $8,881,105. In reality, NBA players make $6.4million on an average. That’s a metric that can be used to calculate the average salary of NBA players. One could say that it isThe NBA players Who are not being paid enough?

WNBA rosters are made up of 12 players. The earnings of an entire league would be wiped out if the average NBA salary was $6.4 million.

The NBA’s 2021-2022 games averaged more than 3 million viewers. The WNBA’s games attracted 205,000 viewers in a single year. The NBA also plays five times as many games as the WNBA. This makes the viewership even less balanced.

President Kamala may appoint Cross as her Wage Kommissar in the not too distant future. This will allow her to eliminate that horrible “disparity”, and dictate equal pay for all American workers.

So, Kommissar Cross . . . Oprah should have her take reduced to the level of an obscure host on a small network. For that matter, should Cross’s pay be reduced to equal that of a humble NewsBusters blogger?

Haq concluded the segment in a liberal manner, drawing down America to the level with some of the most dangerous countries on the planet. While warning Americans against traveling to places like Russia or Afghanistan, where they could be arrested on trumped-off charges and used as pawns à la Griner, Haq added:

“With that saidDue to our problem with gun control, warnings are being issued by other countries about traveling to the United States. This is why we must acknowledge it.

Here, we also face challenges, which makes other countries cautious about investing tourist dollars.

Cross, who was impressed by Haq’s suggestion that the US be placed in the same group as other rogue states, replied “wow, yeah!”

Tiffany Cross’s MSNBC broadcast blaming Brittney griner’s Russian imprisonment on the wage disparity between the NBA and WNBA player was sponsored partly by Ensure, Ancestry and Verizon.

TIFFANY CROOSS: Nayyera. What’s your opinion? How do you feel the State Department handled this all?

NAYERRA HAAQ: In a range of situations, US hostages have taken place, including in Syria or Afghanistan. Now, we are seeing in Russia.

We have found that many of these individuals had previous security or military connections and were now working for the country.

Brittney Griner’s story is different. Due to her fame in Russia. She was very prominent. It is also very well-known.We know that her only reason she was there was because she couldn’t make the same salary here as NBA players. This is the reason America lives in such a different way.A way we often don’t understand when it is about wartime hostages.

CROSS: Yeah. It’s terrifying.

It is possible that the US could be engaging in negotiations with Russia. Are Americans in danger from such actions? This signalling to hostile countries that it is enough to make some allegations against American citizens and that the U.S. can negotiate with me on what I need? What does all this mean for us as we travel Nayyera Let us know your thoughts.

HAQ: It’s concerning, right? It’s not surprising.Notices from the State Department advising against travel to certain places are posted by them. Avoid Russia. Do not think that you will travel to Russia. Change the world. If you’re an American citizen, your life is at stake.

Now, Despite that, warnings are being issued by other nations about traveling to the United States due to our gun control problems. So…

CROSS: Wow.

HAQ: —  We have to be able to acknowledge that. Here, we also face challenges, which makes other countries cautious about investing tourist dollars.

CROSS: Yeah.
