Are you convinced Joe Biden requires a cognitive assessment? If so, it’s something you have in common with Dr. Ronny Jackson — White House physician during the Trump and Obama years.
Now a Republican representative for Texas’s 13th district, Dr. Ronny has helmed a letter petitioning the President to get tested.
The letter was posted Wednesday and opens as follows:
Dear President Biden
Once again, we are writing to you in order to voice our concern about your cognitive condition and encourage you to immediately submit to a cognitive testing. No matter your gender, age or political affiliation, we believe all presidents should follow former President Trump’s lead and document their mental capabilities. Your annual physical exam was completed on November 19. 2021. You were either not subject to a cognitive test, or the results were not made public. White House Physician Kevin O’Connor, D.O., attested to you being “fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency” in a very superficial and purely physical manner; however, we are worried about your mental abilities.
As noted in the petition, members of Congress have sent two other such missives since Joe’s inauguration (neither garnered a response).
And while time ticks, Americans continue to lose faith in the President’s capacity to “effectively and competently handle [his] duties as President of the United States.”
Biden is referred to in the letter as referring to polling data.
- A majority of respondents believe you should pass a cognitive exam.
- 56 percent aren’t confident you will be able to perform the duties of President. That is 29 points more than October 2020.
- 64 percent believe that you have given signs that indicate you may not be able to perform the duties as President of the United States. This includes 60% of those 65 years and over.
- Only 33% approve of your job as President.
Dr. Ronny notes Joe “brushed aside” the previous pleas as partisan.
But:
[T]He recently wrote an extensive article in the New York Times, which is left-leaning. According to [the outlet]Your recent public outings have fueled increased attention to your cognitive condition. During which, you often stumble when walking, lose your track of thought, struggle with summoning names and seem momentarily lost, you are causing more scrutiny.
All of this was exemplified during your most recent trip to the Middle East, where you claimed that we must “keep alive the truth and honor of the Holocaust,” among other things.
The letter recounts other incidents which “are extremely concerning and cast doubt” on Biden’s ability to serve in his position.
Joe has certainly shown himself to be aberrated, but it isn’t something that first appeared post-election. Many expected him to perform as expected. As we see the Commander in Chief, it is his. handlers — and, perhaps, even he himself — anticipated.
Let’s just say that our eyes were wide open when we entered the room.

Is the President willing to take a written test? This seems unlikely. Furthermore, it’s veritably certain that no modern administration would release any negative news if such a test were to be failed. And if the results were announced as positive, critics wouldn’t believe them.
Yet, many legislators have signed the letter. Fox News reported that 54 House Republicans had signed it. That’s 13 more signatures than graced the one in June of 2021, and 27 more compared to last February’s attempt.
Even if Biden failed a cognitive test and was removed from office, it might not be immediately herald an age oratory ascendance.
