More ‘Inclusive’ Air Force, Space Force Now Allow Usage of Gender Pronouns in Electronic Signatures – Opinion

Vladimir Putin’s Russian military threatens Ukraine. Xi Jinping’s Chinese military threatens Taiwan. Joe Biden’s military now allows the usage of pronoun signature blocks by U.S. Airmen and Space Force Guardians — as Putin and Xi continue to laugh their heads off at the left’s assault on the U.S. military.

According to Stars and Stripes, Air Force and Space Force members can now use the pronouns he/him, she/her, or they/them in their signatures in military correspondence — made possible by the LGBTQ Initiatives Team, or LIT, a part of the Department of the Air Force Barrier Analysis Working Group.

It’s all about a “more inclusive culture,” you know.

Putin, can you please check? He must have been laughing as he swallowed a lot of vodka.

The change was driven “by awareness of a restrictive policy that was being used against transgender Airmen and Guardians who were authentically representing themselves,” Lt. Col. Bree Fram, a co-lead of the initiatives team, said in a statement, noted Stars and Stripes.

According to Stars and Stripes, Gina Ortiz Jones, Under Secretary Air Force, agreed to the Monday statement.

An inclusive force is a mission-ready force, and I’m thankful to the LGBTQ Initiatives Team for helping us realize this opportunity to be a more inclusive force.

Hang on — Xi just choked on an egg roll. It was very close.

Kurt Schlichter, Townhall Senior Columnist and my friend, was a master at this.

Air Force now uses pronouns as signature blocks in documents, hoping to take over the Navy’s position as most absurd military branch. This is a ridiculous joke.

Next war we will win. And that’s no joke.

To Kurt’s point, the longer this nonsense continues and the further off the paramount track of its mission our military slides, the more deadly serious it becomes. (The Roman Empire was unavailable for comment.)

Washington Examiner reports on a few specific details.

On Dec. 9, the Air Force released a memorandum instructing how to close out signature blocks in electronic correspondence, including guidance to “Be INCLUSIVE—remember our diverse force.”

“Sometimes we inadvertently exclude members of our audience by falling into communication traps involving references to race, religion, ethnicity or sex,” the memo advised. “Knowing your audience and adhering to good taste and sensitivity will keep you in check.”

The use of preferred pronouns in email signatures was “authorized but not required,” according to the memo.

It is yet another step in the fall of the U.S. army under Biden, ideological Frick, Frack and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

A report commissioned by members of Congress and released in July found that the U.S. Navy‘s surface warfare forces have fundamental systemic training and leadership issues, including a focus on diversity that overshadows basic readiness skills.

Daily Mail reported that the report was written by Marine Lieutenant General Robert Schmidle (retired) and by Rear Adm. Mark Montgomery (retired). It came as a response to several recent Naval disasters including the destruction of USS Bonhomme Richard, San Diego’s burning, and two collisions with Navy vessels in the Pacific. Also, it included two surrenders to Iran of small craft.

Daily Mail noted the report found that 94 percent of 77 interviewed current and retired Navy officers believed the recent Naval disasters were “part of a broader problem in Navy culture or leadership.” Said one retired enlisted leader:

Each unit within the Navy has been trained in diversification. I’m sorry that I can’t say the same of their ship handling training.

The same was said by a lieutenant in active service:

Sometimes I think we care more about whether we have enough diversity officers than if we’ll survive a fight with the Chinese navy. It’s criminal.

They believe that my only real value as a woman of color is being a black woman. But you cut our ship open with a missile and we’ll all bleed the same color.

Concerning the absurd pronouns, Lt. Col. Fram summarized the whole problem of the U.S. army under its current Commander-in-Chief, as transcribed by Air Force Reserve Command.

The DAF’s foundational competence is to promote inclusion. Use of the correct pronouns can be a way to show respect and care for Guardians and Airmen as individuals and help retain qualified personnel.

Allowing pronouns in an individual’s signature block is a quick and simple way to eliminate confusion and promote a more inclusive culture.

Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin continue to have fun. Hard.
