Moore to the Point – Easy as Falling off a Bike – Opinion

Note: This “Moore to the Point” commentary aired on NewsTalkSTL on Tuesday, June 21st. You can hear the audio below.

We’ve all heard the saying: “It’s as easy as falling off a bike,” which, to be fair, is likely a conflation of “It’s as easy as falling off a log,” and “It’s just like riding a bike.” Either way, it implies something is quite easy to do or resume doing.

While speaking with journalists, President Biden fell off his bike and took a nasty tumble. He got his left foot planted on the ground properly but couldn’t manage to free his right foot from the pedal harness – and down he went.

Now, I’ll be the first to admit I’ve done something similar. You can actually fall over or off a bike quite easily. The President should be commended for taking the time to exercise, with the 8000.The following is a list of thvacation of his presidency – so far.

However, the analogy is not a surprise. Joe Biden – and his administration – seem to be tripping all over themselves. Whether it’s on the economy, or domestic or foreign policy, they plant one foot here and then often set the land-speed record walking it back to there.

It’s an unfortunate look.  This administration gives it the appearance of being easy, just like falling from a bicycle.
