“Like come on, we’re not snowflakes. Are we?”
“Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski defended Joe Biden Thursday, asking if critics of the former vice president are “snowflakes.”
Discussing Biden’s behavior towards women and his much-discussed tendency to invade the personal space of others, Brzezinski called criticisms of Biden’s behavior “unfair.”
“In this climate, I feel like a lot of men have nowhere to go when something like this happens,” she said. “What seems unfair about this is again this is not—we’re not talking about sex. We’re not talking about harassment. None of these women have said it felt sexual, they said it was a little weird.”

Brzezinski insisted Biden’s accusers could have solved the problem by letting him know they were uncomfortable at the time.
“And I gotta tell you, if you can go on national television and talk about Joe Biden putting his hands on your back and now you’re demanding an apology from him because what he said on Twitter is not enough,” Brzezinski said, in an apparent criticism of Biden’s accusers. “You probably could’ve told him in real time. And he probably would’ve said ‘I’m sorry, I was trying to be nice.’ And it probably could’ve been finished right there.”
Brzezinski then challenged her fellow panelists on whether or not they were “snowflakes.”
“Like come on, we’re not snowflakes. Are we?” Brzezinski asked the panel. “Are you a snowflake, Claire?” Brzezinski said directly to former Democratic Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill.
“Pretty sure I’m not,” McCaskill replied.

“Okay, so I gotta tell you we have to decide what we get upset about and what’s a national story,” Brzezinski continued. “I think if the campaign did what you were saying, it would make it even bigger. At this point, look, he’s saying he gets it. Fine, I still hope he gives me a big hug. I’m good.”
The MSNBC host’s comments spurred backlash on social media from both sides of the aisle. One Twitter user insinuated that Brzezinski’s Biden stance was hypocritical considering remarks she made during the controversy over Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court.
Last year, while Kavanaugh faced allegations that he had sexually assaulted Christine Blasey Ford, Brzezinski pondered “why any woman would bring this up unless for some reason, that there was some sense that this did happen.”
***SEVEN*** women have now come forward about #Biden's unwanted touching.
He hasn't apologized. He said "social norms are changing." But was it ever correct to touch a woman against her will?

Biden has been under fire recently after multiple women accused him of inappropriately touching them in ways that made them uncomfortable. Biden initially denied any wrongdoing in the incidents, but later issued a video apology promising to be more mindful of people’s personal space in the future.
