Lets Make America Energy Independent Again

Texas’ Lone Star State of Texas, is quite unique in America.

Their total land area is 268,596 miles. They rank second in the state’s geography.

They rank second among the population, according to U.S. Census BureauWith 29,145,505 inhabitants, Gov. Greg Abbott says they’ll be the biggest in 10 years.

Everything is bigger in Texas–including population growth.

They have great BBQ and some of the most friendly people on this blue planet. I believe Texasans love Texas and that more people will soon discover this as they move to the state.

Why all this Texas love when I am sitting here in Michigan freezing my tush?

Energy my people, energy. Natural gas and other fossil fuels are necessary to keep our bodies warm in the cold winter months. Preferably produced here so we don’t need to wait for those ships on the coasts to be unloaded.

Yesterday’s meeting between the President of America and Olaf Scholz of Germany was dominated by the Russian pipeline. Nord Stream 2Built to transport energy to Germany. It was one of the first actions taken by the Biden administration to lift the Trump-era sanctions on that pipeline. This is now being used to negotiate with Russia to stop their invasion of Ukraine.

Let’s recall that the White House’s initial excuse for lifting sanctions on the pipeline and its parent company was that it was essentially complete. While it is possible to interpret this line as true or false, Biden and his handlers maintained that Nord Stream 2’s prior progress made any opposition nonsensible and ineffective.

Yet, here we are almost a year later, and now Biden wants to pretend like he’s got a killswitch ready and waiting? He doesn’t, and it’s obvious he doesn’t, otherwise we wouldn’t be where we are right now. If any actual leverage existed over Nord stream 2 at this point, it would have been exercised before the first 50,000 men made it to Ukraine’s border.

After having read the article on the Russian and Ukrainian current crisis and how it has strained our relationship with our allies I discovered this tweet and an entertaining video.

Texans understand that oil jobs and natural gas are essential to our economy’s strength. This video doesn’t have to sell me on the fact that Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, Bernie Sanders, and AOC are out of step with reality, political or otherwise.  They are trying to prevent this country, and other states such as Texas, from becoming energy independent again. I know that they have no right.  The story of our German allies dependent on Russia for their energy needs is a reminder that people need to look at the current state of the world and not what they want it to be.

AOC, her cartoon-crusader crew who believe fossil fuels to be super unclean and very bad won’t let facts stop them from predicting doomsday. Yet, being the rational and fantastic purveyor of truth, justice, and the American way that I was born to be, I’m duty-bound to let you know that there is another side that is not doomsday at all.

The oil and gas industry created 11.3 million jobs nationally and 2.5 million in Texas back in 2019, just two years into Trumps’ term according to The Center Square. The United States is now the largest country in the production of natural gas and oil, while the Lone Star State leads all states.

Texas had a unique way of leading the world and it was done in style.

The state of Texas’ oil and gas industry spent $13.9 billion on state and local taxes, state royalties and other state revenue in FY 2020. These funds directly supported Texas schools, teachers and roads. The equivalent of $38 millions per day The total from 2007 – 2020 is over $162 billion.

Oil and natural gas tax and royalty revenue is used to support education, transportation, healthcare, and infrastructure through the Economic Stabilization Fund (commonly known as the Rainy Day Fund), the Permanent School Fund (PSF) and the Permanent University Fund (PUF) – all of which are funded almost exclusively with taxes and state royalties paid by the oil and natural gas industry.

There are many things that can be done to improve education, health, and the infrastructure.

This may seem harsh for the New York Congressperson. However, if she had taken the time to maybe read up a bit more on this subject while on her vacation to the free state of Florida, where masks are not required like in her home state, she would be more informed on this subject —  WATCH: AOC Partying It up Maskless at Crowded Drag Brunch in Miami. She would be a master of this subject if coloring books were available in podcast format.

For his four-year term, Donald Trump had one goal: to make America again energy independent. We were only for a short time. If we find more efficient, cleaner and cheaper ways to harness the existing fossil fuels and make them available to us all, it helps keep good paying jobs in America and provides steady revenue for Pelosi’s crew so they can spend their tax dollars on trips to places such as Glasgow.

It is beyond shocking that the Biden administration in less than a year has destroyed all of the hard work done to free this nation from foreign energy manipulation. When folks like Nancy Pelosi, AOC, and Bobby Francis O’Rourke (a.k.a. Beto)  are for these horrible policy reversals done since January 2021, that reveals just how short-sighted they are. The Americans should pay more for gas, food, and other necessities. They fly, party and criticize fossil fuel industries while pretending to be VIPs.

They are a lot fun!

Texans were the first to lead this country in critical areas of energy and they are willing to continue that leadership. America only needs national leaders who will take the steps that were taken just four years back to protect our national security and interests. It means being a strong producer of the fuels that we use everyday and not becoming dependent upon hostile foreign players such as Germany.

So as much fun as it is to watch Nancy and her crew of hapless Democrats sputter all over the place, I don’t think they should be in charge of anything more than a reality TV show. In fact, if you put  AOC and Beto on a show I might even pay to stream that hot mess for at least a week. Watching them fly or drive all over the country (using fossil fuels)  telling each other how pretty and smart they are would be a hoot and much better for the country as a whole.
