One of the hilarious things circulating on Twitter over Veterans Day was this from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s ferocious communications director Christina Pushaw.

I would be willing to entertain serious discussions about the premise if it were a news media other than that of the Democrat party’s propaganda arm. Then again, you might laugh at me. But it isn’t, and so I won’t.
Let me explain. What does this mean? Trump takes a terrorist group that is violently insurgent off the list. This group attacked the US Embassy and overtook it. They also took hostages. I wonder what you would think their reaction to this? I’m guessing that Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney would still be holding hearings on the event.
This scenario is a perfect example of how crickets can be created when Joey SoftServe, his band of cretins and other players play it out.
We were supporting the Yemeni legitimate government as well their Saudi allies, in order to end the Iranian-supported, Iranian-supplied Houthi army when President Trump visited the White House. Under Iran’s aegis, the Houthi branched out from their civil war in Yemen and started attacking civilian targets inside Saudi Arabia. Joe Biden had a very different agenda to President Trump. He didn’t care about American interests abroad, he was beholden to a globalist clique who wanted to drag America into the Green New Deal and other climate change buffoonery and to go back to the Obama Administration plan to give Iran suzerainty in the Persian Gulf region, read Joe Biden’s Iran Policy Is Focused on Returning the Power, Prestige, and Nuclear Weapons Iran Has Lost Since 2016. The first step was to remove the Houthi militias from the terrorist list.
Due to the current security situation in Yemen diplomatic staff from the US have been physically located at Saudi Arabia for over a year. However, the US retains an embassy compound manned by local nationals as a security force.
The U.S. is working to free Yemeni security personnel taken hostage after Iran-backed Houthi rebels stormed the U.S. Embassy compound in Yemen’s capital San’a, U.S. officials said.
The U.S. diplomatic mission in San’a has been suspended since 2015, when Houthi rebels took control of the city. The U.S. Embassy staff in Yemen has been working from Saudi Arabia since 2015, when the rebels took control of the city.
Houthi rebels stormed the embassy compound in San’a on Wednesday and took U.S.-employed security personnel hostage. According to a State Department spokesperson, most of those held hostage have been released. He said that the U.S. is making constant diplomatic efforts to free the remaining.
“The majority of those who have been detained are no longer in custody,” State Department spokesman Ned Price said earlier this week.
Ned Price, you’ll recall, is the guy who couldn’t tell us how many US civilians were left behind in Afghanistan when Biden bugged out of there. As far as I can tell, the White House hasn’t even acknowledged that the event took place. Congress could only make a mildly disapproving statement. Some Republicans are committing this shameful error.
“Breaching the sovereign territory of a foreign embassy and threatening and detaining its staff clearly demonstrate the Houthis have no interest in peace, nor in making the changes necessary to become legitimate members of the international community,” Sens. Robert Menendez, D-N.J. and Jim Risch (R.Idaho), are the Senate Foreign Relations Committee’s leaders. Also in their ranks is Reps. Gregory Meeks(D.N.Y. and Michael McCaul) (R.Tex).The House Foreign Affairs Committee was led by, who made a statement.
Unreal.
Iran-backed Houthi rebels stormed the US Embassy, Yemen, and took hostages.
Tehran 1979; Benghazi 2012; Kabul 2012. Now Sanaa 2021. It’s almost like our enemies sense weakness when certain people hold office. https://t.co/K5g8J0dTf1

Another catastrophic failure in national security for Joe Biden. Biden administration could not wait to remove terrorist sanctions from Iran-backed Houthis, and their leaders. Now those terrorists are seizing our facilities & embassy workers. https://t.co/64L9hw2dw3

Indeed. Remember that Osama Bin Laden attacked New York because he believed America to be objectively weaker than he did. He also thought America was spineless and gutless. The physical facility in Sana’a matters little, but the imagery of a drooling semi-literate mob taking that facility and holding US employees hostage will resonate everywhere we are already thought weak because of the craven manner of our exit from Afghanistan. The Houthi were just being used as the proverbial canary-in-the-coal-mine to gauge American reaction. By doing nothing, we’ve simply encouraged subsequent adventures on an ever-larger scale. And I don’t mean adventures by the Houthis. Actions by the ChiComs as well North Korea and Syria are what I’m referring too. All of them are watching and all can see the same thing.
Not least, the media outlets of the regime have not provided much coverage. Can you picture this under President Trump? No news from the media, no response by the White House. Had this occurred under President Trump, Brian Stelter would be imitating Jeffrey Toobin. I would submit they aren’t covering this for two central reasons. First, they know that Biden’s approval rating is hovering around 40% and that the Republicans are showing a historic lead in the generic ballot. They should pay more attention to this episode as it could drive people away from Biden or the Democrats. They are also generally supportive of the Iran nuclear agreement. Iran has nuclear weapons to deter Israel. Spending a lot time on Iranian proxy taking over an American embassy in Washington would be counterproductive.
Since 1861, there has been a war between a bunch of shady White House usurpers as well as their willing aides in press. The Republic was never in such danger. I wish I were confident about how this will end, but I’m not.
