Kathy Griffin Whining She’s Not Been Canceled, but ‘Erased’ — In Splashy NY Times Story

Kathy Griffin is the person who best defines “First World Problems.” The latest is one of many liberal-media sham stories. The New York TimesFebruary 19, 2009, promoted the story “Kathy Griffin Is Tending to Get Back on The D-List.”

It Times included a friendly photo showing Griffin mugging at the pool at her mansion, and features reporter Katharine Rosman noted “She does not lack for money — she says her net worth is $50 million — but she craves the one thing that has driven her for decades: work.”

Griffin wanted her wealth underlined: “Griffin’s house is a modern, boxy white structure of 8,200 square feet sitting on 1.8 acres in the hills overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Griffin provided me with the Zillow listing and she purchased it in 2020.

The TimesAlso published in July 2019 a “Kathy Griffin should (or should) be back” story. Griffin asks if you can really think of yourself as “erased” or “canceled” when your career is being promoted by the liberal media.

This article generated a lot of Twitter buzz because Griffin complained that CNN boss Jeff Zucker had cut her salary after she demanded a raise to cover her annoying new year’s Eve schtick, which was $80,000. I just started screaming. ‘I’m Kathy [beep!] Griffin, Jeff, that’s who I am.’ Then she said, “I would feel more at ease showing up if my salary was what it deserves.”‘”

It New York TimesYou are asked to be sorry for Cooper, a woman overpaid, by publishing articles that ask you to sympathize with her. Can you see that she has been “robbed”?

It is “seriously out of whack,” he said, “that she is struggling to get things back on the rails because something went too far in a photo” meant to satirize a polarizing politician who was making life-or-death policy decisions.

Griffin is being let down, but it doesn’t seem like America. Hollywood and Manhattan are the culprits. Griffin was also bitter that CNN supported her replacement Andy Cohen, and told Bill DeBlasio to “sayonara,” which is a reference to the fact that Jeffrey Toobin was still with him after his Yank Your Doodle scandal.

Griffin sees a double standard. He notes that others, such as Jeffrey Toobin and Dave Chappelle, have had their careers relatively stable or have found their feet again. Or maybe it’s the patriarchy, which Griffin frequently invokes, amid expletives.
