We covered Friday’s report on President Joe Biden’s rage hypocrite attitude on COVID travel bans. He issued yet another of many since taking office. This one relates to the Omicron version of the Wuhan coronavirus, which has been recently documented abroad.
If you missed the announcement, the following countries will have travel restrictions to the United States beginning Monday.
🚨🚨🚨BREAKING: the White House is restricting travel from South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Lesotho, Eswatini, Mozambique, and Malawi — starting Monday — due to concerning new covid variant. UK & other European countries took same action today

You will be able to see that these countries all lie on Africa. Biden didTrump’s January 2020 China travel ban was implemented as the United States began to understand more about COVID-19.
We were also told a year and a half ago by Biden that “a wall will not stop the coronavirus,” this after Trump announced travel restrictions from certain parts of Europe to the United States in March 2020, something else Biden has obviously flipped on since becoming the newest occupant of the Oval Office.
Not surprisingly, Vice President Kamala Harris told reporters today that the travel bans are “necessary” after she was asked if she believed there would be more travel restrictions put in place in addition to the ones announced Friday:
“I have been briefed,” Harris told reporters. “As the president has said, we’re gonna take every precaution and that’s why we’ve taken the measures we have.”
Harris said she “can’t stress enough” how important it is for Americans to get their booster shots or their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. “I will say what I say every time because it remains true. They are safe, the vaccines are free, and they will save your life.”
Asked about any additional travel restrictions, Harris thought for a moment and said, “We’ll take it one step at a time, but as of now we’ve done what we believe is necessary.”

For Harris, it was a wildly different tune to sing as well considering her own statement in February 2020 about how Trump’s travel bans were allegedly “un-American” and “clearly driven by hate, not security”:
Trump’s extended un-American travel ban undermines our nation’s core values. This ban is clearly motivated by hate and not security. https://t.co/x0fHFKRHWo

As I noted before, not that any of these 180s are big shockers (especially with Kamala, considering her convenient change of heart on believing Joe Biden’s accusers last year), but it’s infuriating nevertheless. The tactics used by Trump to portray him as a racist because he was acting upon information from his senior administration officials about the spread coronavirus to European and Asian countries are appalling.
Biden, Harris and others played dangerous politics with Trump and both the virus as well as the vaccine in 2020 to boost their chances of defeating Trump. This included suggesting that it might not be safe for use because Trump was developing the vaccine, but also accusing Trump and Harris of racism for setting up travel bans.
In the upcoming elections, Republicans must remind their voters about the double-faced natures of Harris and Biden on these issues. The American public needs to be reminded often that very unserious people are at the helm and are making serious decisions that have major impacts on people’s lives With political calculations in your mind.
As far as I’m concerned, it doesn’t get much more dangerous than that.
