Justice Department Targets Americans With New “Domestic Terrorism Unit” – Opinion

The Department of Justice has created a new “domestic terrorism unit” that will supposedly address the alleged rise in domestic terrorism, according to Assistant Attorney General Matthew Olsen.

Olsen announced the new DOJ weapon against American dissidents at a press conference on Monday. This announcement was accompanied by chilling undertones as Olsen explained exactly who they consider a threat according to their current guidelines.

These attacks over the past years highlight how dangerous domestic terror continues to be to us, our law enforcement officers, public officials and democratic institutions. Based on the assessment of the intelligence community, we face an elevated threat  from domestic violent extremists, that is individuals in the United States, who seek to to commit violent criminal acts in furtherance of domestic social or political goals and personal goals. A mix of ideologies, personal grievances, and motivations often drives domestic violent extremists. There is a rising threat to those motivated by racism, and those who describe themselves as extremists against government or anti-authority ideologies.

Given the terrifyingly Orwellian “school board memo” that saw the DOJ and the White House coordinating with the NSBA to label parent pushback across the nation as terrorism, it is quite clear who this new unit will aiming their power toward. It won’t be people who drive their SUVs through crowded parades at Christmas time. It won’t be men who throw little boys off the balconies of malls, or Democrat sympathizers who attempt to murder members of congress at their annual baseball games. It won’t be sexual predators and gang members streaming across the southern border to claim asylum and then wreck havoc. No, it won’t be any of these threats.

The “threat” is you. The “threat” is parents who push back on creeping Critical Race Theory in public schools – “racial animus” – and people who protest mask and vaccine mandates or other government overreach – “anti-authority.”

Unless you’re burning down neighborhoods and churches in the name of Black Lives Matter. Then you’re not a threat, you’re mostly peaceful.

This is both shocking and alarming. While actual terrorist acts have reached the shores of America, the DOJ has codified parents’ dissatisfaction at public school officials, and declared that curriculum was equal to ISIS/Al-Qaeda. Olsen was careful to mention international terrorist groups in the same breath as “anti-authority” groups in America.

We remain alert to the ever-present threat of international terrorist organizations like ISIS or Al-Qaeda.

This is not accidental. It was not intended to be a link between mom jeans and peaceful protests, but with the worst terrorist acts in the world.

The “elevated threat” is that a growing number of American citizens are beginning to finally actively participate in the legislative process by showing up and shouting out. Current administration plans to make use of all the power and force of the United States government to threaten and intimidate citizens who are exercising their Constitutional rights. This is all a part of the “J6 Agenda” and it is pathetic, infuriating and possibly illegal.

Just look at the reaction Senator Ted Cruz gets when he tries to inquire as to the FBI’s involvement in the Capitol events last January.

Clearly a strategy is afoot here to paint dissenting Americans as violent threats, marginalize critics of government, and threaten the safety and constitutional rights of Americans by “otherizing” their complaints and pushing them to the fringes of society. This is also how we have created yet another bureaucracy, which will never go away.

Und was happens if one of your oppositions to the creation of a new government unit with the sole task of monitoring citizens’ speech and actions in critique of the ruling party?

You are now a domestic terrorist.

Herzlich willkommen in unserem Club.
