Just hours later, the US Supreme Court issued a decision that confirmed the 50-year-old truth that the US Constitution does not allow a baby’s murder. in utereo,Joey SoftServe made a quick dash to the White House podium and muffled his utterly incomprehensible take on this important occasion.
This speech was subliterate world salad. I’ve provided the transcript below. A quick note: The CBS closed captioning removes the ignorance and actually leaves out some of the most stupid statements Biden makes.
These are the main points.
Donald Trump is responsible for this. Even though we were lectured over and over about how there was no such thing as “Obama judges” and “Trump judges,” we now have verification that there is a difference.
It was three justices, named by one president, Donald Trump, who were the core of today’s decision to upend the scales of justice and eliminate a fundamental right for women in this country.
This decision comes after a decade-long, right-wing plot to completely enslave females.
It is clear that this decision represents a decade-long effort to change the laws. It’s a realization of an extreme ideology and a tragic error by the Supreme Court, in my view. It has taken away an essential constitutional right for many Americans, which was already recognized by the Court. This is something that it has not done before.
Extreme is the Supreme Court.
This decision shows that the Supreme Court’s conservative majority is far from the majority. This decision made America an outlier in developed countries or the global world. However, it should not be considered the last word.
A thing is sacred when it has been allowed to exist for long periods of time. Biden did not comment on his views. Ferguson vs. Plessy Oder Korematsu vs. United States.
An agreement with wide national support that was accepted by most Americans regardless of religion or backgrounds. It has been the law for the majority of Americans throughout their lives. This was a Constitutional principle, upheld equally by the justices appointed by Republican as well as Democrat presidents.
Republicans are going to be checking the mail and searching your homes for contraceptives and “morning after” pills. They will track the movements of your genitals using an app that you have on your smartphone, if they are women.
My administration will also protect a woman’s right to access to medications that are approved by the Food and Drug Administration, the FDA, like contraception, which is essential for preventive health care. The FDA approved Mifepristone 20 years ago for safe termination of early pregnancies. It is also used in miscarriage treatment. Some states say they are going to try to prohibit or restrict the access to these medications. But extremist state legislators and governors are looking to block the mail or search a person’s medicine cabinet or control a woman’s actions by tracking data on an app she uses are wrong and extreme and out of touch with the majority of Americans.
This sort of sounds familiar doesn’t it.
Biden, along with his friends, will actively seek to undermine the Supreme Court’s decision to strike back at their collective office oaths.
While my administration will exercise all its legal powers, Congress has to act. Your vote can make it possible to act. Your vote can make the difference. It’s not over.
Do not riot no matter what you do.
Two points to close. First of all, let me remind everyone to respect this decision. Peaceful. Peaceful. Peaceful. No intimidation. Violent intimidation is not acceptable. Terrorism and intimidation should not be considered speech. No matter your reason, violence must be stopped in all its forms. Second, it is clear that many people feel frustrated by the Court taking away something that is fundamental. Many women will now face extremely difficult circumstances, I am sure. You are my support. Your cause is my concern. Your support is my strength.
I’d just note that this was how President Trump ended his speech on January 6. When you place this in the context of Biden’s refusal to condemn the assassination attempt on Justice KavanaughAnd his Justice Department’s refusal to act on attacks on crisis pregnancy centers and assassination threats against Supreme Court justices

It is difficult to understand this message other than as a call for violence on the streets.
As semi-literate and as truthful as this speech was, it gives an excellent insight into the lawless regime currently occupying White House.
TRANSCRIPT
It’s not hyperbole to suggest a very solemn moment.
Today, the Supreme Court of the United States took away the Constitutional rights of the American people. It had recognized them before. They didn’t limit it, they simply took it away. It’s never been done to a right so important to so many Americans. They did.
It’s a sad day for the Court and for the country.
50 years ago Roe V. WadeIt was declared and is the law of today.
This landmark case protected a woman’s right to choose; to make intensely personal decisions with her doctor free from interference from politics. Reaffirming basic principles of equality that women can control their destiny and ensuring privacy for each person, this case will help to reinforce the fundamental rights of privacy.
You can get started now with Roe gone, let’s be very clear. This nation’s health and safety is at stake. As chairman and ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, as Vice President and now President of the United States, I’ve studied this case carefully. I’ve overseen more Supreme Court confirmations than anyone today where this case as always discussed. Roe V. Wade was my opinion as it relates to constitutional law and the application the the fundamental rights of privacy and liberty in family, personal and marital matters.
It was a decision on a complex matter, that drew a careful balance between a woman’s right to choose earlier in her pregnancy and the state’s ability to regulate later in her pregnancy. The decision was approved by the vast majority of Americans regardless of religion or background. It has been the law of most Americans for nearly all of our lives. This was a Constitutional principle, upheld equally by the justices appointed by Republican as well as Democrat presidents.
Roe V. WadeIt was a 7-2 ruling, which was written by Richard Nixon, a Republican president. The five decades that followed were amazing. Roe V. WadeJustices from Eisenhower to Nixon and Reagan were some of the Republican presidents who were appointed. Roe V. Wade.
It was three justices, named by one president, Donald Trump, who were the core of today’s decision to upend the scales of justice and eliminate a fundamental right for women in this country.
It is clear that this decision represents a decade-long effort to change the laws. It’s a realization of an extreme ideology and a tragic error by the Supreme Court, in my view. It has taken away an essential constitutional right for many Americans, which was already recognized by the Court. This is something that it has not done before.
The Court’s decision to do so will have real and immediate consequences. The state laws prohibiting abortion immediately take effect. This is a serious threat to the well-being of millions of women. The women who protect their own health can face severe punishment. So extreme that women and girls were forced to bear their rapist’s child. It’s a child of consequence. This just stupendous. It is so extreme, doctors may be prosecuted for not fulfilling their responsibility to care. Imagine having a young woman to carry a child of incest—as a consequence of incest with no option. It is too often. Women who are poor will suffer the most. This is unjust. The Court actually used state laws which criminalize abortion from the 1800s to justify its decision. America is literally being regressed by 150 years. It is an awful day for America, I believe. But it doesn’t mean that the fight is over.
Let me be very clear and unambiguous: the only way we can secure a woman’s right to choose in the balance that existed, is for Congress to restore the protections of Roe V. WadeAs federal law. That is impossible to achieve by the president’s executive actions. If Congress lacks the votes, it is important that voters make their voice heard. This fall you must elect more senators and representatives who codify a woman’s right to choose into federal law once again. To protect this right, elect more leaders from the states. It is necessary to reinstate the protections. RoeIt is the law of land. It is important that we elect those officials. Roe’s name will appear on the fall ballot. The ballot includes personal freedoms. The right to privacy, liberty, equality, they’re all on the ballot. Until then, I will do all in my power to protect a woman’s right in states where they will face the consequences of today’s decision.
While the Court’s decision cast a dark shadow over a large swath of the land, many states in this country still recognize a woman’s right to choose. So, if a woman lives in a state that restricts abortion, the Supreme Court’s decision does not prevent her from traveling from her home state to the state that allows it. A doctor from that state can still treat her.
According to the Attorney General, women are allowed to safely travel to another country to receive care. That bedrock will always be upheld by the administration. If any state or local official, high or low, tries to interfere with a woman’s exercise of her basic right to travel, I will do everything in my power to fight that deeply un-American attack. My administration will also protect a woman’s right to access to medications that are approved by the Food and Drug Administration, the FDA, like contraception, which is essential for preventive health care. The FDA approved Mifepristone 20 years ago for safe termination of early pregnancies. It is also used in miscarriages. Some states say they are going to try to prohibit or restrict the access to these medications. But extremist state legislators and governors are looking to block the mail or search a person’s medicine cabinet or control a woman’s actions by tracking data on an app she uses are wrong and extreme and out of touch with the majority of Americans.
I was contacted by the American Medical Association and American College of Obstetricians and Gynologists. They stressed that these laws were not supported by evidence and asked me and Vice President Harris to ensure access to healthcare. They say by limiting access to these medicines, maternal mortality will climb in America, that’s what they say.
Today I’m directing the Department of Health and Human Services to take steps to ensure these critical medications are available to the fullest extent possible. The politicians can’t interfere with the decision between the woman and her doctor.
As the consequences of this decision unfold, my administration will be vigilant. I’ve warned about how this decision risks the broader right to privacy for everyone. That’s because Roe recognized the fundamental right to privacy that has served as the basis for so many more rights that — we’ve come to take for granted that are engrained in the fabric of this country — the right to make the best decisions for your health, the right to use birth control, the right to privacy of a couple in their bedroom, for God’s sake, the right to marry the person you love. Justice Thomas expressed the same sentiment today. He specifically called on the court to reconsider marriage equality and couples’ rights to choose their contraception. The court has now taken us down a dangerous and extreme path.
Two points to close. First, everyone should keep protests peaceful, regardless of how much they may care about the decision. Peaceful. Peaceful. Peaceful. No intimidation. Violent intimidation is not acceptable. Terrorism and intimidation should not be considered speech. No matter your reason, violence must be stopped in all its forms. Second, many people are disillusioned by the Court’s decision to take away something so essential. Many women will now face extremely difficult circumstances, I am sure. You are my support. Your cause is my concern. Your support is my strength.
It is the American people’s consensus and the consequences of their core principles of equality liberty dignity and stability of rule of law that demand this RoeShould not have been overturned. The conservative majority on the Supreme Court has made this decision, which shows how dissimilar it is to the vast majority. The United States was made an outlier in developed countries or the global world by this ruling, but it should not be considered the last word. Congress has to act. My administration will make use of all legal and appropriate powers. Your vote can make it possible to act. Your vote can make the difference. It’s not over.
Many thanks. I’ll have more to say on this in the weeks to come.
