Joe Biden returned home from a very memorable vacation to Delaware. Perhaps it was the right decision to return to Washington after the incident with the President falling from his bicycle while sitting still, and the rescue of his daughter when he got into an argument with a reporter.
It was a mistake. Biden went to a COVID-19 site in D.C., but things didn’t work out as planned. Biden forgot to mention who his CDC is, another indication of his mental decline. It’s all normal when we consider that Biden is a close associate with the agency over the past year-and-a half.

Rochelle Walensky may be a terrible CDC director, but pretending she doesn’t exist? That’s harsh, wouldn’t you say? Of course, Biden isn’t doing so on purpose. Biden’s memory is so bad that it seems almost criminal. Recall that this is the same guy who has repeatedly forgotten Barack Obama’s name despite serving in his administration for eight years as vice president. The president of the moment also frequently misremembers names of cabinet members.
Because again, he’s senile. I know it’s inconvenient for some to admit, specifically those on the left side of the aisle, but the President of the United States is not all there. The President of the United States is not all that he seems.
The president’s use of his mask during the exchange made it even more bizarre. If you watch the video, everyone in the room is masked up despite the fact that it’s June 2022, with objective data telling us that mask mandates do little to nothing to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. That’s dumb enough to witness on its own.
Biden adds an additional level to the absurdity of things when he takes off his mask and starts screaming at everyone in the room. This is all while there are people around him. Then he bends over and keeps his mask away from his face, so that a child may whisper to him.
Now, the problem here is not that Biden pulled his mask down.That’s perfectly reasonable given they are essentially nothing more than face decorations at this point. Sometimes, you just need to be heard and sometimes a mask can make it difficult for people to understand you. Why does he continue to play this game with his administration? Why continue to promote mask-wearing, when even the president clearly doesn’t believe it does anything? Do you really want to be able to take off your mask when you are near the crowd, but wear it backstage? This behavior is not logical and can undermine trust.
But not making logical sense is a staple of Biden’s presidency, whether it’s his memory crashing and burning, the silly mask-wearing, or his general irrationality regarding policy decisions. Maybe the electorate will be able to learn lessons from this experience, but I’m not optimistic for now.
