Today is a bad day for stock market investors if they have money. Dow Jones dropped by close to 900 points, with other markets following these same trends. Joe Biden’s leadership has led to the market being lower than it was when he first took office.
This is the result of a large-scale, complete collapse.
BREAKING: The Dow Jones Industrial Average, Nasdaq, and S&P 500 are now lower than when Joe Biden took office

The White House is expected to give an explanation on how and why this occurred. While there isn’t much to go on, Biden continues to be challenged over his usual role of passing the blame for the decline in stock markets.

Like with gas prices, Biden doesn’t get to talk about how great he is when the stock market is up and then disown his responsibility when things crash, and to be sure, what we are witnessing is a crash the likes of which we haven’t seen since the Great Recession. As retirements fall, those who made more money in the short-term market are left with nothing but a ruined life.

There is no place to hide, unlike past economic turmoil. You are currently losing money because of high interest rates, inflation that is sky-high, and depressed investments. The Great Recession saw inflation drop to less than four percent. This meant that those who saved and invested lower, as well as the smarter, were better off. Currently, everything is on fire, and there’s no escape from Biden’s economy. Worse, there’s no hope in sight of a turnaround.
When asked about the chaos on Monday, Biden’s press secretary, Karine-Jean Pierre, flailed wildly, essentially suggesting that the economy is so amazing that people can handle a little hardship.
Doocy: Biden once boasted about the stock markets ‘hitting records, after records, and after records on my watch’ What about now?
Jean-Pierre: The economic historical gains we made below have positioned the American people well to meet these challenges. [Biden].” pic.twitter.com/sjLLE0aCQH

Does it make you feel confident? Because I don’t feel well-positioned as I continue to watch my investments go up in smoke while my savings dwindle under the weight of inflation. Witnessing this type of gaslighting can be quite shocking. Jean-Pierre was just as shameless, but he lacks the same rhetorical skills that Jen Psaki.

Q: What is the President’s message for someone who wants to retire but has their 401k wiped out?
Karine Jean-Pierre audibly gasps and then states that Biden “incredibly focused” about the economy. pic.twitter.com/vd0TDUC58J

She’s quite literally reading that answer out of her briefing book. This is a woman so ill-prepared and so unknowledgeable that she can’t even give a basic retort without reading it verbatim. Shouldn’t the ability to speak publicly be a qualification to be a press secretary?
But it’s her substance (or lack thereof) that is most striking. She goes on to suggest that the economy is booming, plugging the American Rescue Plan and noting that Republicans didn’t vote for it. Well, yeah, I’m pretty sure all Republicans are happy to say they didn’t vote for the chief cause of the nation’s out-of-control inflation.
In short, the White House’s economic strategy is idiotic, but its messaging is just as bad. From Biden to Jean-Pierre, these are all people who have lost their minds.
