Items Taken in Trump Raid Revealed – Opinion

A day after AG Merrick Garland criticised Americans who questioned integrity of FBI/DOJ, both agencies are still leaking like a sieve. Unlike the Hunter Biden case, which has been locked down tight for years, there’s a relative river of information being revealed about the raid on Donald Trump’s home in Florida. It’s almost like the federal law enforcement apparatus is hopelessly partisan and corrupt, right?

Now, The Wall Street Journal is reported it has actually reviewed the documents taken and is providing a description of them, including how many sets of classified documents were retrieved.

FBI agents who searched former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home Monday removed 11 sets of classified documents, including some marked as top secret and meant to be only available in special government facilities, according to documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation agents took around 20 boxes of items, binders of photos, a handwritten note and the executive grant of clemency for Mr. Trump’s ally Roger Stone, a list of items removed from the property shows. Also included in the list was information about the “President of France,” according to the three-page list. It is all contained within a seven page document, that includes the warrant for search of the premises granted by an Florida federal magistrate.

This irony is thick enough to be cut with a knife. According to the DOJ and the liberal press, these documents were so super-secret and important that they justified raiding a former president’s home with dozens of armed agents. They are fine for journalists to display, knowing that the entire story will be public.

In order to obtain only eleven pieces of classified data, the FBI broke all rules and went through all that trouble. That’s less than what Hillary Clinton had on her illegal bathroom server, including special access materials, and she was never raided.

Other than that, the rest of the stuff taken appears to have been Trump’s personal effects. He received letters. He and his staff made notes. Lists of visitors and similar. There is nothing that could be used to justify raiding the owner’s home. None of this adds up because it’s not meant to add up.

This is just more proof that Trump was politically embarrassed by the FBI and DOJ. They knew they would selectively leak material to create a negative narrative in the media. It is clear that the majority media were more than willing to accept this. Worse yet, none will be held accountable.
