House Passes Gun Control Bill – Opinion

The Senate passed by a vote 65-33 the largest and most comprehensive gun control bill of all time. Fifteen Republicans gave up on their alleged principles and signed aboard the concerning bill, which raises a lot of issues–including with red flag laws.

Here’s a great run-down on some of the problems in the bill.

Although most Republicans opposed it, Senator Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R–KY) supported it along with Sen. John Cornyn(R-TX).

The House passed the bill in a 234-193 vote on Friday, despite Rep. Steve Scalise of Louisiana whipping against it.

Nevertheless, it was supported by 14 House Republicans, which included predictable offenders such as Rep. Liz Cheney in Rhode Island (RINO–WY) or Rep. Adam Kinzinger in Illinois (RINO–IL).

Joe Biden said that he would immediately make it law.
