Racism was once again on full display during Friday’s edition of The ViewSunny Hostin was a co-host of the show and an vile person. She accused Latino Republicans and black Republicans of being traitors due to their opposing political beliefs. Lindsey, guest host and black Republican, was present to face Sunny Hostin’s absurdity. She called her stupid for not knowing her own race.
It all started with a discussion about Karine Jean-Pierre, newly appointed White House Press Secretary. Granger was concerned about a conflict of interest since Jean-Pierre’s partner works for CNN, citing other instances of CNN’s conflicts of interest aiding Democrats (Donna Brazile leaking debate questions to Hillary Clinton and the Cuomo debacle).
This obviously didn’t sit well with co-host and CNN hack Ana Navarro (who says she’s a Republican). Granger was called a Trump supporter by Navarro, despite the fact that she worked at CNN. “I know this may be a novel point, a novel idea for someone who’s a supporter of Trump, but there are people being capable of being related and having ethical interests,”She snorted.
Granger put Navarro in her place by noting she wasn’t a Trump supporter and she’s “a black woman first.” “But I do say that I have many conservative values that I will talk to you about. And so, if you at your network that you’re standing behind–” she began to say before Hostin interrupted with her bewilderment.
“Are you a Republican,” Hostin asked in honest surprise, as if they snuck a conservative on the set under her nose.Granger confirmed that she was a member of her party. Hostin then reacted:
HOSTIN: It’s an oxymoron for me, I am a black Republican.
JOY BEHAR: Oh.
GRANGER: You feel like it’s an oxymoron?
HOSTIN: Yes.
GRANGER: Why? GRANGER: Why? [Points to Navarro]
“I don’t understand either of you,” Hostin chided as Granger called out Hostin’s own oxymoronic beliefs in being a Catholic and pro-abortion.
Hostin took on her usual cowardly physicality of arguing by looking off into the distance and not the person she’s talking to (fiddling with her ear piece while she did it) as the argument persisted:
GRANGER – You don’t know yourself. There are disagreements
HOSTIN – I am able to understand you. I don’t know what to do with either one of you. I don’t.
GRANGER It’s a private conversation on CNN and the possibility of things getting leaked.
“I don’t understand black Republicans and I don’t understand Latino Republicans,”Hostin blasted Granger and Navarro. But instead of defending herself Navarro attempted get the pair back talking about Jean Pierre.
Navarro’s performance drew this reaction from MRC Latino director Jorge Bonilla:
Credit to Granger who stood her ground in the face of the race-betrayal trope, as opposed to Navarro who meekly deflected with a seal-clap line https://t.co/FiKiwH0C2m

This isn’t the first time. The ViewHostin has called black Republicans traitors. Back in January, Hostin attacked Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas by saying he “doesn’t represent the black community” and Behar used air quotes to describe him as “a black guy, a black man.”
And Navarro did the same thing in April when she lashed out at Florida Senator Marco Rubio (R) for voting “No” on Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation to the Supreme Court. “Listen, when Marco Rubio’s parents got to Florida, it used to say ‘no blacks, no dogs, no Cubans.’ I’m so sorry he seems to have forgotten that,” she sneered.
These racist smears of black and Latino Republicans were made possible because of lucrative sponsorships from Ensure and Olay. They are linked to their contact information.

ANA NAVARRO: I know this may be a novel point, a novel idea for someone who’s a supporter of Trump, but there are people being capable of being related and having ethical interests.
LINDSEY GRANGER There are many things that I don’t stand by that Trump did. Trump’s actions have been racially charged. First, I am a black woman. That’s why you should always remember that. However, I can tell you that I hold many conservative beliefs that I am willing to talk about with you. And so, if you at your network that you’re standing behind–
SUNNY HOSTIN: Are you a Republican?
GRANGER: Yes. And when you look at your network that you’re standing behind, you’re saying that you look at Chris Cuomo —
HOSTIN (I feel that it’s an oxymoron for a black Republican.
JOY BEHAR: Oh.
GRANGER: You feel like it’s an oxymoron?
HOSTIN :
GRANGER: Why? GRANGER: Why? [Points to Navarro]
NAVARRO : This conversation has been had many times.
GRANGER: And you said you feel like it’s an oxymoron that you’re Catholic, but you’re also pro-life.
HOSTIN – I don’t get either of your languages.
GRANGER – You don’t know yourself. There are disagreements
HOSTIN – I am able to understand you. I don’t know what to do with either one of you. I don’t.
GRANGER It’s a private conversation on CNN and the possibility of things getting leaked.
HOSTIN: I don’t understand black Republicans and I don’t understand Latino Republicans.
[Crosstalk]
NAVARRO: It’s not all about me or you today. It’s about celebrating Karine Jean-Pierre and the history she’s making.
HOSTIN: That’s true.
BEHAR: But we’ll be back.
