Hispanic Voters Are Abandoning You in Droves and Now We Know Why – Opinion

I’m going to purposely bury the lede in this one. It might appear that this is a futile exercise for rational people, but it can be done with ease.

Understanding the mind of the Democrat

In this instance, it is understanding the mind and actions of the Democrat politician.

First, an understatement: Liberals don’t think like rational people. This does not suggest they’re stupid. On the contrary, Democrat lawmakers are, on the whole, quite intelligent — but they use their intelligence to manipulate, exploit, attack, and lie. In other words, they don’t think or behave like the rest of us.

The Democrat Party can connect everything it supports, opposes and proposes with just two dots. Black America’s exploiting for over 60 years is an excellent example.

Through six decades of pandering to Blacks, Democrats have done a lot to help them.  Many of their hollow promises have never been fulfilled. And the ones that have happened generally made matters worse for Black America.

But here’s where the genius of Lying Liberalism comes into play.

The Democrat Party has convinced the majority of Blacks, “While we might not have delivered everything we’ve promised, just think how much worse off you’d be if you didn’t have us to protect you from the evil Republicans.” Hence, Black voters dutifully line up in every election, decade after decade, and dutifully and overwhelmingly vote Democrat. Why? Because by and large they’ve been programmed to do so.

First, the bottom line

This strategy is similar to what Democrats use with Hispanics. This includes the acceptance of illegal immigrants entering the country. Hispanic voters, as with Black voters historically, voted Democrat overwhelmingly.

But here’s the thing. If Quinnipiac or Gallup sent pollsters to the Southern border and found that 75-80 percent of illegal aliens streaming into the country would vote Republican if ever given the vote (that’s not what they’d find but stay with me), Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Joe Biden, and the entire Democrat Party would race to the border — with CNN and MSNBC in tow — lock arms, and form a human chain stretching from the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico in a frantic effort to keep them out of the country.

Attention Democrat Party! This is already happening. Bigly.

What is the difference? According to a recent survey, 42 percentHispanic Voters have been moving away from Democrats toward the Republican Party in recent years. It is quite profound. It is a valid point, however it is profound.

Rasmussen’s latest survey found that 48% of Hispanic voters support a generic Republican for the ballot if 2024 was held. This compares to only 46 percent supporting a generic Democrat. Two points. No big deal? Is there a margin for error? It’s a big deal when you consider that it happened only three years back.

There are likely many reasons why Democrats have lost support. Concerning legislation the president’s Build Back Better plan is weighed down by a large number of extraordinarily unpopular provisions.

Additionally, Democrats can be seen as more of a threat to democracy than Republicans. Democrats were determined to repeal three of the most popular election reforms, which are supported by over 80 percent of voters.

There are many other concerns beyond the specific legislation. Many voters are aware that the current situation is much worse than it was before the pandemic.These days, there are far fewer Americans who have a job..

It is politically a difficult issue for Democrats. Two-thirds believe that cultural and economic issues are more important to them than they think.. Yet37% think that Democratic politicians or activists are only interested in economic issues..

This is the second line of defense:

Hispanic voters are not going to dutifully line up for decades and dutifully pull the “D” level. Hispanics say the opposite. While Democrats appeal to Black Lives Matter, Hispanics clearly disagree. Both policies and results matter. 

An estimated 18.7 Million Hispanic Americans registered for the 2020 elections, according to City University of New York. It is predicted that this number will rise. Take a look at that.

Given that the Rasmussen survey results were based on a generic ballot, it stands to reason that if Biden runs in 2024 — particularly given the above issues — or Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, et al., the future relationship between Hispanic voters and the Republican Party look pretty bright.

The one certainty is that Democrats are going to be Democrats.

Might be time for Pelosi, Biden & Co. to head to the border sooner than they think.
