On Wednesday, it became clear that President Biden’s negligent spending in the Build Back Better bill was dead as Democrats did not have the votes in the Senate to get it passed before Christmas and the start of an election year. And after doing their darndest to gaslight the American public about what’s in the bill, the liberal broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC; including Spanish-language networks Telemundo and Univision) ignored the final conclusion of the bill’s slow, agonizing demise.
The un-ceremonial farewell to the bill that would’ve thrown trillions of dollars at social spending boondoggles was one of the top stories on Fox News Channel’s Special Report. Anchor Bret Baier even kicked off the segment with a Fox News Business poll showing “almost half of registered voters surveyed think President Biden’s Build Back Better plan would push inflation higher. Only 21 percent think it would help lower inflation.”
“The best-laid plans of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer may have gone astray,” quipped congressional correspondent Chad Pergram, juxtaposing the Senator’s hopes for the bill and the harsh reality:
SCHUMER – We hope to complete it by Christmas. [Transition]Senate Democrats are continuing to work towards passing the president’s Build back Better act prior to Christmas. [Transition]I want the Senate to act before Christmas to discuss and pass President’s Build back Better legislation.

“There is nothing magical about passing the bill by Christmas. The artificial deadline is meant to encourage action. However, the bill might not improve with time. Especially as President Biden’s polls sag,” he added.
Pergram also sought the insight of Darrell West of the Brookings Institute. “It’s going to be hard to keep Democrats in line as his unpopularity grows,” West said. “Anything that slows down the train risks running it off the rails.”
And on Biden’s effort to keep the party on those rails, Pergram reported: “he may be willing to postpone Build Back Better until next year, that’s if the Senate can approve a voting rights bill.”
Following the video portion of the segment, Baier asked the million-dollar question teeing up Pergram to explain that other Democratic wish list items were just as dead and were only “an effort to distract the base, especially if they postpone the spending bill”:
Chuck Schumer spoke to moderate Democrats to discuss changing the filibuster in order to give voting rights. If the GOP blocks Democrats, they can only approve the bill through a special filibuster. Derek Johnson, of the NAACP met today with Democrats. According to Johnson, the time is running out. He says that voting rights have not fared better than other bills.
The network blackout of the death of President Biden’s agenda was made possible because of lucrative sponsorships from WeatherTechABC NeutrogenaCBS News, Ford Motor CompanyNBC. This link will take you to their contact information so that you can inform them about the bias news they are funding.

CHAD PERGRAM : It is possible that the best-laid plans by Senate Majority leader Chuck Schumer have gone awry.
SEN. CHUCK SHUMER (D–NY): It is our goal to have it passed before Christmas. [Transition]Senate Democrats are continuing to work towards passing the president’s Build back Better act prior to Christmas. [Transition]I want the Senate to act before Christmas to discuss and pass President’s Build back Better legislation.
PERGRAM – Senate Democrats are optimistic that the Senate will still be able to pass the bill by December 25th.
SEN. DICK DURBIN(D-IL),: We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Let us go to our families. Let’s do our jobs.
PERGRAM: However, those hope are dimming.
UNIDENTIFIED JOINALIST 1: Are you convinced that you can pass the Build back Better Act this year?
JOE BIDEN, THE PRESIDENT: It’s my hope. We will be there.
PERGRAM – Unresolved problems linger over immigration, tax, and healthcare.
SEN. MICHAEL MCCONNELL (R–KY): This bill wasn’t going anywhere. It was the best Christmas gift that America could get.
THE PERGRAM. The Republicans are against the bill, however it is dependent on one Democratic Senator.
MCCONNELL – Senator Manchin may be able to determine the timing.
PERGRAM: Joe Manchin spoke with President Biden several times during this week. Manchin fears that the bill might fuel inflation. Manchin seems to be a bit shady since the bill hasn’t been passed.
UNIDENTIFIED JOURNALIST 2. Can you resolve your problems before Christmas?
SEN. JOE MANICHIN (D–WV): We don’t have anything to vote on procedurally.
PERGRAM The artificial deadline is meant to encourage action. However, it is possible that this bill will not improve with time. This is especially true as President Biden’s polls are falling.
DARRELL West (Brookings Institute),: Democrats will have a hard time keeping up with him as his inpopularity increases. [Transition]Any delay in the train’s speed could lead to it being thrown off its tracks.
[Cuts back to live]
PROGRAM: Today, President Biden stated that he could be prepared to delay Build Back Better until next fiscal year, provided the Senate votes in favor of a voting rights bill. Bret?
BAIER: Yes, it’s true that bills are more difficult to pass in elections than they stay around. Chad, however, this vote rights bill talk is not realistic if Build Back better is as marginalized as we think it may be. Democrats are shifting their attention there.
PERGRAM : Not much. It is meant to disorient the base and delay the spending bill. However, voting rights have not fared better than any of the bills. Bret?
BAIER: Chad Pergram, live from Capitol Hill. Chad, thanks.
